Pleasant check in experience

We stayed a couple of weeks ago (on way to Uluru) and were very disappointed that our room was not clean. Having already booked for the return journey we were not looking forward to our stay, however it was much cleaner this time. The room was dated but overall clean and comfortable. There is lots to do for a day in Coober Pedy and the Breakaways are beautiful in the late afternoon.

Well situated, easy parking and a large 2 bed apartment which looked as if it had been very comfortable when new. However it was a bit tired looking and unfortunately hadn’t been cleaned very well - we had to clean horrible sticky marks from the bedside cabinets and there was a dirty tissue on the floor. Also (not the hotels fault) a noisy party was taking place in the room next to us until very late at night.

Clean and comfortable.

Arrived after reception closed at 5pm. Directions for room key location was sent to phone at 5:15pm prior to our arrival & was easy to understand. Room was clean, tidy & bed was comfortable.

Reception staff very courteous and helpful with local knowledge etc. Always great to have a smiling face upon arrival.

We loved how clean our room was. The proximity to the Big Winch is great, to go watch the sunset.

Property was behind a high wall & was under security camera. Would have preferred an automatic lockable gat for nighttime. Place was very quiet.

It was aptly named!! Dark, looked dusty & Dirty, (but IT WASN'T ). just choice of colours. Food was okay at the Pub next door, friendly Manager and Staff.

Robin was great. She gave us great tips where to eat and shop. Stella of Opalios was very accommodating and friendly. Stop by at Opalios to check for authentic and we’ll crafted opal.

The mud bricks had great sound insulation so we slept really well, despite being close to a busy 24 hour service station. Room had everything we needed and complex felt secure.
