Excellent location, very central to some of the best cafes, restaurant, bars and live music in Sydney, a stone's throw away from the train station to link you to the rest of Sydney. The apartment itself is, although small, very well appointed with everything you could need for a short or long stay. The apartment is on a very busy street and the triple glazed windows do an excellent job of blocking the street noise. And make sure you check out the rooftop shared space. I would highly recommend Newtown Mews.

If you're looking for a modern, comfortable one bedroom unit close to the city, I would recommend Newtown Mews. In a secure block the units are set around an atrium which give a sense of open air. We were close to road and rail transport but having triple glazed balcony windows made it very quiet. I will definately use this listing on future stays in Sydney.

If you want to be in amongst the action this is the place! Good fun, good food close to transport. the perfect base for a wonderful Sydney adventure....

Not a hotel but much better a self contained apartment , spotlessly clean , comfortable and in great walking istance to transport , cafes bars , resturants , shopping , i cannot fault this accommodation , ease of contact with operator , everything you could need is there , my ealy arrival was accommodated as well , thank you , i will definately rebook this apartment on my next visit , and recommend to anyone wanting a much more personal quiet , and private experience !!!! Loved Newtown Mews !!!!!!

Stayed here for a couple of nights for a work trip

I loved this space. Right in the heart of my favorite areas of Sydney, you couldn't ask for a better location. The room is fully contained if you are traveling on a budget. Narelle was my host and she was very accommodating to any query I had. I will definitely be back.

Check in was easy; the place was easy to find; the room was spotless when we arrived; the facilities are good quality; it's close to most of Newtowns best restaurants and a 2 minute walk to the train station. The only downfall, which wasn't actually that bad, was the noise level at night - the noise cancelling shutters block most of it out, but I'm a light sleeper so it was a little bit noisy for me. Other than that it was a perfect stay. Thanks Narelle!

after having arranged early check in, floor still wet so had to wander around for another hour! Very noisy location. If you are not familiar with Sydney, Enmore Road is a main and busy road. Even with the noise damper shutters down... and when down then unable to open the sliding door for fresh air.

Nice location, however there appears extra charges. The owner wanted £45 cleaning fee! Nothing about this on booking. The owner also charged £80 early access fee, we arrived on a 5am flight. No check in until 2pm.

Home from home, only items needed was food. This place has thought of everything. Train are a 2 min walk and Circular Quays is 15 mins by train. Brilliant choice.

Our aim was to spend four nights in Sydney to see as much as possible of our son and his partner (living in Camperdown/Newtown) and have a day shopping in the CBD. Newtown Mews offered great convenience for rail access to City and back as well as to the host of shopping, browsing, eating and drinking options in and near King Street. What we didn't realise was the difficulty of being picked up or let down by friends or taxis on busy Enmore Rd, or that we would have to contend with multiple sets of stairs to gain access to our room. With quite a bit of luggage, arriving on a very hot afternoon, and I being blind, made the arrival process somewhat more stressful than anticipated. We owe a debt of gratitude to a friendly resident neighbour who helped us up with all our luggage. We didn't much like the smell of dampness in the room at first and were annoyed to find that the small oven/microwave was quite dirty, obviously not having been properly cleaned for some time. When we had cleaned it, we couldn't get it to work anyway. These were the only major negatives, apart from traffic noise, however, there were plenty of positives: a motorised external screen which cut out a considerable amount of the noise and the sun's afternoon heat; the apartment was clean and spacious, well equipped for a short stay, had a good and large fridge, washer/dryer and extractor fan in bathroom, and had a comfortable bed.

Great place to stay in a very cool area. Newtown is full of cafes, bars and small shops, lovely to walk round, has a great buzz to it and don't forget to call in at the local brewery. The apartment is lovely, with all mod cons, very comfortable and right in the cenre.

Don't stay here unless stairs are not an issue. The apartment is well equipped and in the heart of Newtown so there's some noise to be expected. Ring Narelle if you have plumbing issues. I'm still confused about the dryer. In the apartment it says the dryer is turned off but when I talked to Narelle she said it worked. Clarify if you want a working dryer.
