Stayed for 1 night while travelling around the district and stop off at the SPC Factory

It was very nice and quiet and was just next door to the attractions like the flower nursery and car museum. The parking was just in front of the room which was great. The host was very helpful. We stopped here on the way from Canberra to the Great Ocean road so it was a bit out of the highway and took about an hour to get back onto the highway. That was the only downside.

The freezer part of small fridge was put on defrost (before we arrived,. Went out to dinner and came back to water on carpet. Lucky I saw it late and used a towel to stop the flow. Changed it 3 times. Toilet was filthy too. Bed was ok - first time I haven’t had a sore back. Only used kettle & tv. Shower had good pressure. Leaking fridge and dripping which kept me up ruined my stay.

It was excellent, very spacious even if parts of the carpet should be replaced. Originally it was a bit hard to find but we got there in daylight.

Walls in bathroom are mouldy, with holes in the plasterwork. Surrounding area, including the entry driveway is overgrown and looks untidy. Signage is poor.

The only thing that was nice was the view of the lake from the back of the unit. Booked a Queen room with kitchenette. Very untidy property & reception area. The microwave was dirty and very rusty inside. The smoke alarm had been taken off ceiling and was in the drawer. The material covering on mattress was missing just foam and a few scraps of original material. Shower over spa bath was slippery & dangerous. 2 mugs, 1 plate & 1 knife for 2 people! Walls were dirty. Wouldn't recommend this place. Photo's taken.

Very suitable motel for a short stay. Nothing special, but it's clean. The room had everything we needed but the outside of the property (particularly the entrance) could do with a facelift.
