Unfortunatley, the room was a huge let down to this property. The standard was way below par. The entrance and the grounds are not a true reflection of the room at all!! We had to get the sink plugs unstuck. The room was tidy but definitely not clean. Fraying old outdated carpet. Damaged walls.A disturbing smell that i could not get rid of even with products and worst of all No aircon in room 12c. Screendoors and sliding doors don't move properly on the tracks. Toilets dont flush well. Water leaks from shower cavity to floor in main room. Only supply 1 towel per person, and an extremely sparse starter pack- tiny dishwashing liquid, clothes powder, 1 dishcloth, 1 teatowel, teeny tiny bodywash and shampoo, 1 face cloth per bathroom and 2 rolls of toilet paper. Considering we stayed for a whole week, that was poor! When I spoke to reception about the issues, she fobbed us off, told us we had booked a low grade room which didn't line up. I paid for 2 family units. Plus a friend also booked a room. Their room and my daughters room were far superior to my room for the exact same price! Great property overall. The groundsmen really do a great job of keeping everything clean and well maintained.The games room, gym and pool areas were well used. Although some of the local residents of the building were kind of nasty to the kids. Happily voicing their annoyance at holiday goers staying there and using the shared facilities. Other 2 rooms had issues too.

The room was clean had a beautiful view was on a high floor close to the elevator on the beach walkable to restaurants, barbecue area, beautiful swimming pool and spa. The staff are wonderful. The parking was under the building, gated and safe. I highly recommend staying at the Princess Palms Excellent.

Great location, bed comfortable kitchen and bathroom weren't that clean with plastic bag fron previous guest on left on floor, no face washers needed to ask twice over two days.

We recently stayed at Princess Palm and had a great experience both with the accommodation itself and the customer service. Highly recommend.

Right on the beach, excellent beach view

It was exzellent. Perfect foresight for all possibly needed materials. Nice light rooms, marvelous balcony with sight on the beach and the wages. Short distance to the “Dune Cafe “.

The condition of the property was horrible, and unacceptable to be honest. Yes it wasn’t the most expensive accommodation on the Gold Coast but it certainly wasn’t cheap by any stretch of the imagination, the place smelled really bad, the fridge was dirty and sticky, towels had yellow stains, glasses had lipstick on them, the seats were dirty, carpet filthy, dirt and old sweets were under the beds, and worst but not least… the bed was filthy, when we lifted the sheets up there was black marks, urine marks — it was horrible. One of the sliding doors also kept falling off runners, and the main balcony doors had a gap and never shut, the whistling from the wind was crazy. We actually complained on night and wanted to leave, we got a phone call the next day but no offer of that. They said they’d send housekeeping up, I don’t think they did. We want to complain but I can’t seem to find a way to speak to Hotels.com about this. Social media may be our only way. But in summary, this stay was not acceptable when paying good money and is really recommend avoiding, and I’d love to speak to somebody!

Loved the ocean view and apartment just on the beach. Currimbin wildlife sanctuary about 2 bus stops away. Loved the warm spa Was looking for rest and relaxation and wasn't disappointed. Staff were lovely and friendly.

Great views, quiet and comfortable!

Location was perfect. Everything we wanted within walking distance. Pool was small by okay. Only negative was the single beds had no blankets on them. We had to use the ones in the cupboard. When I got the first one down I was bitten by something. So I used beach towels as blankets instead. Reception staff was very friendly and helpful.

Lovely Ocean views, Great Car parking and close to Lifts. Nice pool / spa and Sauna. Staff very friendly.

Great view of the ocean and everything we needed

The hotel itself is undergoing renovations but our room was fantastic. The location of the hotel and access to the beach was the most enjoyable aspect for my two primary aged children. The beach was very safe for kids and calmer waters are also easily accessible. Hotel car park can be a bit tight in a big car but manageable. A lot of food options, cafes, posh bakery and supermarket all within an easy walk. We would definitely stay here again.
