Nice neat property, room cleaning could be better, room a/c just fan control no actual temperature control. Restaurant highly over priced.

A great hotel. Lovely pool 25m. Great eating area in the atrium. 25min walk to the Kingston foreshore. 15min walk to bus depot markets.

Property is near to city cbd and most attractions. Parking (inside or outside) is not free even for the residents which was a surprise for us.

Carpark filthy, not enough bins (only one very small box at door) guests emptying rubbish from cars on the ground. Cleaners don’t clean the carpark. I walked past the guest laundry and noticed it doesn’t get cleaned even tho the staff walk into this room regularly to access a staff area room. Shampoo and conditioner not fill even when I left the bottle dismantled in the shower area. Used towels left in room. Cleaning

Property was Filthy, everywhere you went it was dirty. Rooms were dirty, bathroom was dirty, pool was dirty, spa was dirty. Im totally fine with rooms and things being outdated as long as they are clean. I wouldnt stay again, if i wasnt going to lose my money i would have left as soon as i checked in.

Charged a parking fee and didn't believe it was right.

The property is very old and needs updating. The room and property itself is very dirty and needs a deep clean. The room we stayed in was very hot & stuffy. The air conditioning was permanently fixed on hot and there was no window or sliding door to let fresh air in. It was that bad I had to open the front door for hours to let air in the room. We told the manager on duty and he came up to flick a switch next to the bed to turn the heated air off even after that the room had no air flowing throughout. We pid for four people to stay and each day they gave us only three towels- I had to ask for more towels. Three pillows in the room also- I had to ask for pillows. The mini bar did not get topped up after our first night. The sauna, pool and spa area needs updating. When we stayed there were no pool towels only a large pile of dirty ones. The dinning room down stairs was dirty. The carpet has stains in many areas and thick dirt scum in the corners. The legs of the chairs were broken. The coffee was excellent at the bar & the service was fast. Parking under the building and access was great. Overall the price per night did not match the accommodation expectations.

We paid for inclusive breakfast with the accommodation. The breakfast does not include coffee. Not even a make your own coffee option. We had to pay additional for a cup of coffee with breakfast!

No hot water in the bathroom, on a -4 degree morning, and a small handbasin with taps that either dribbled or gushed. It was impossible to fill the jug from the basin (the only source of water), it was so small. Was put into a wheelchair-access room with a bathroom designed for disabled access, and not told about this on check-in, despite asking about the room type. Staff who seemed powerless (or unwilling) to address the issues. We love this hotel and stay there whenever we're in Canberra, but this stay was really unsatisfactory. I've notified management - let's see if there's any action!

Stay was comfortable, convenient and enjoyable

The rooms are large; the property is getting on but well maintained. I have marked them down because they claim to have EV charging but when I enquired it was access to a 240v plug - whilst I can charge with such a plug this does not, in my mind, qualify as EV charging.

Parking is additional upon check in.

Staff were very nice and helpful. We noticed that no one was picking up the trays from room service. Room was dated with lots of scratches on the furniture. Shower flooded ever time we used it. Most disappointing thing was they change their guest $25 a day to park at the hotel

Staff were great. Room a little dated but overall ok, tv should have more options rather than stream cast which is glitchy. For the money paid would expect more, Breakfast also not impressed in terms of quality and clearly short staffed. They were run off their feet and clearly not able to keep up. Given a long weekend management should be prepared for business and provide adequate staffing levels.

Ok accommodation and conveniently located

Enjoyed the easy access and the quiet sitting areas in the evening.

All good at Rhydes except for very under staffed Sunday morning in café/ restaurant area. Well over 30 minute wait for take away coffee

Very attentive staff, and easy place to walk around to restaurants and shops. Would stay there again

Was nice the only down fall for me was no parking and if you want to park at the hotel they charge you $25 per day parking should be included in your room fee but that would the only issue

Hotel rooms and all staff were excellent upon arrival and departure. Ambiance at bar and adjoining dining area very stisfying but a little more independent table subdued lighting needed to make menue easier to read. Subdued lighting and fireside atmosphere very appropriate and appreciated. In room tea making facilities and drinking glasses not easilly found.
