Rydges was great, had early check in. If you are going to the Ekka, just know, to park before 12pm is $15 extra, and something I feel they should advertise around Ekka time. We had a free drink, which was nice, though, I had a postmix softdrink and would have preferred a bottle, as my friend got a nice alcoholic bevie, will speak up next time. Just a second note on parking, make sure you check your account when exiting, as it took a 2nd amount out, have contacted them and still waiting for a refund! Other wise great place to stay, especially around Ekka time.

When I called and asked twice to have 3 beds made up in the family room, there were only 2 made up.
I was assured on both occasions that tis would be done.
This was a suprise for my sons 40th.

We stay each year for 1 night during the Ekka,
We book a arena view room on the top floor, the rooms are great and the view excellent, this year unfortunately the bed was uncomfortable and too soft, also the sheets used kept riding up off the mattress making for an interupted sleep, the restaurant and staff are great, will stay again

Very busy on check-in at just before 3pm room was not ready so were made to line up again after 3pm. On the wall of the single bed was what look like snot on smeared the wall. It just didn’t live up to the expectations of good hotels these days.

Room great if only using to sleep in bed was comfortable.
Had buffet breakfast for both days that stayed plenty to choose from on buffet but found the food wasn’t really hot both days I ate and on the second day didn’t even see anyone checking the hot food to see if there was anything that needed to be topped up even if was only a small amount to get through the next hour or so
