A bit loud but otherwise everything I needed and a great location

We had a fantastic time and made good use of the accommodation, especially the kitchen in the room. We could either go out, find great coffee spots for breakfast or wine bars just a 2-minute walk away, or prepare our own meals. Coffee capsules were often available for refill, and we even used the washing machine once!

Such friendly service, clean and comfortable room, just perfect.

Quality is reflected in the price however cleanliness could be improved significantly.

When the power was actually working sure but there was cupboards missing and this random dripping in the kitchen the entire stay. Doesn’t look anything like the pictures at all and the staff were very rude

Close to Toorak road and south Yarra station. Lovely staff. Very quiet

Communication for after hours check in . Was worried and stressed after said time no details to check in was sent to me . Couldn’t call reception got answering machine . Different reception hours told to me late in text . Did get details on phone eventually. The physical check in was easy.

Service was terrific. Property could do with a bit of update.

The bed was my favourite part. Been on many trips and after a few days my back hurts from the bed. Beautiful mattress!! Clean, comfortable. Everything you need for a short or long term stay.

Literally only thing that wasn't great which I won't deduct a star for is I broke a glass when it accidentally fell from a bedside table barely a foot above the ground - their glasses aren't super durable as I found out lol but still an AWESOME stay!!

SoYa was excellent; it exceeded our expectations by far. The property was clean, friendly and welcoming. It has a cute leafy courtyard in the middle, and parking out the back. Handy kitchen amenities, extremely comfortable bed, lounge area with Netflix, nice bathroom. It was a quick walk to the local IGA and South Yarra station. The reception staff were very polite and helpful at every interaction, and most obliging with our late check out request. We really could not have enjoyed our stay more and will definitely stay again the next time we are in Melbourne; thank you SoYa!

The apartment was a bit run-down, and needs better attention to cleanliness. Excellent location, and front desk staff were very welcoming and helpful.

This was an excellent apartment for the price and in an excellent location for our needs. Only complaint was that the walls were a little thin, and we were disturbed by our neighbours for much of the night!

The property is a little oasis from the bustle for a one night stay

This property is a hidden gem. Amenities are great, easy parking and fantastic location. Easy walk to public transport. Renovated older style building but done very well and clean. Nice and quiet, no street or tram/train noise. Customer service was great.

The property is in a good location, it wasnt such good condition. Even though i selected to pay on arrival, they charged my card 1 week before arrival, without my authorisation

Super stay, amazing staff and exxxxxtra wonderful housekeeping. I travel a lot and housekeeping crew can make or break, the amazing lady who looked after things was soooo fantastic, as were the front of house staff. Can’t wait to return!

Close to tram, busstop and trainstation, great area and a comfy bed. But the linen and towels only get changed every 4-5 days. The daily ”cleaning” is just making the bed. It wasn’t very fresh. Though you get complimentary coffe, tea and milk. It’s thin walls and you here everything. I would say that if you are planning on spending time in the apartments I probably would choose another place BUT if you’re like us just there for sleep it’s ok! You get what you pay for and the staff try to be helpful and are nice. I would revisit, for the same budget.
