It was ok. Could’ve been better. Could’ve been stocked and had simple things that normal hotels should have... like more than 1 mug...

Arrived room wasn’t ready left come back 2 hrs later no one to be found . Room untidy staff rude

Absolutely terrible , rude staff

The room was clean and OK. The location was good BUT as there was almost 40 degrees (celsius) and the pool was very dirty (we did not dear to use it) we have to go to the beach instead. Low rates from us becuase of the dirty pool combined with a very hight price (no one was interested in to clean the pool).

The property was aged but nice and clean. Disappointing no blankets on beds, only one pillow. Although we arrived when reception was open, it was not and once we finally got onto them they were very hard to understand. Also there was no lift and I had to walk up 3 flights of stairs I suffer with arthritis

Convenient location 👍👍. Close to shops but away from Main Street. A home away from home .

Had to wait outside for a long time for someone to come and open reception although it was only 5.20 pm. Immediately asked to upgrade at extra cost. Told that Air-Conditioner was not working properly in the room. Stayed 4 days and no effort was made to fix the Air-Conditioner. Very disappointing.

Dear Sunset Island Resort management, Thankyou for providing me and my friends a place to stay over New Years Eve 2018, we are happy to report the room was nice and clean and within a great walking distance to the lovely Surfers Paradise. I would however have to report that the Fridge in our apartment was barely functional and we were unable to store our icecream to enjoy by the balcony to overlook the pool. This caused our fellow guests some stress. As a side note other guests looked at me weird when I was trying to take sunset photos. Would like to feel less self-conscious please!! Overall 9.5/10 would recommend

Enjoyed our stay pitty the pool was always warm also in our unit we only had 1 dinner plate and 4 dessert plates. Very disappointing as there was 5 of us that checked in. Otherwuse great friendly service.

Rooms were clean but stairs were a killer - NO LIFTS!! Should have been warned that there are no lifts.

So close to cavill ave! Very chilled out and laid back vibes... just what we wanted. Fully self contained. I will be back many more times!

The room facilities were great. The pool and spa wad great. Location great. Car park security great. The only downside ... no elevator.

It was awesome we loved it the staff were very helpful and friendly the rooms were very nice the views were great it was only a 10 min walk to the esplanade and the hotel was situated in a quiet area so you were far enough away from the koas but close enough to walk to everything we will be definitely be staying here again thank you

Booked a 2 bedroom apartment for my family and I at the last minute at a discounted rate. We arrived just after 7pm and checked in. we drove down to the locked underground parking and found there were no lifts. This could be a problem if you had a lot of suitcases to lug up many flights of narrow staircases. We found the apartment to be clean but in much need of some new paint and a bit of TLC, bits of the ceiling was falling down from a leak and lots of scratch marks on the walls. There were no batteries in any of the TV remotes or the aircon remote and only a single sheet on the beds, when I went looking for more blankets for my 2 young boys there was only 1 to be found. It was already 12'C outside and was going to get even colder so 1 sheet was not adequate. We tried to call the reception but no one was there, we then tried to call the after hours number only to get voicemail and no one bothered to call us back. It was a very uncomfortable night. The next day we managed to find someone to bring us some batteries for the aircon and 2 more blankets. When they arrived at the room they were rather grumpy and very put out by our request. We did not feel comfortable in this hotel and will not stay here again.

this property was clean and comfortable with everything you need, It was roomy had a pool and was close to the centre of Surfers Paradise.

Aircon doesn’t work, basic furniture no proper lounge. Good place to stay if need to sleep a lot of people location ok for price.

Very close to all amenities and surfers Paradise, eating and public transport, a must book in place for any visitor to the Gold Coast, I will be booking in there next time I visit, you should to.

Fantastic location, we were on the third floor, no lift. The room was clean and adequate for our needs, but was not great. It was great value for money, and well worth the money we paid. I stayed with my daughter and with a one bedroom unit, I got to stay in a rollaway in the lounge room, it was a bit uncomfortable. Air conditioning was only in the lounge, so I froze and my daughter had the fan over the bed going full blast. You get what you pay for, and I think I would stay here again if it was just me, but if I was to bring my wife and younger son, I think I would need to pay more to upgrade a bit, at least to a place with a lift.
