Very comfortable, staff friendly and helpful.

Room was comfy, staff very helpful.

Tidy room but such thin walls and it was too noisy. We could hear everything from outside. I read the review afterwards and many people complained about the same thing from years ago so obviously nothings is done about it. I should have checked the review before booking.

This place was perfect for me. I attended an event nearby and then enjoyed a very quiet, clean and comfortable stay. The bed was so lush. Highly recommend.

Staff were very friendly and helpful, beds were great as were all other conveniences including secure off street parking.

Fjärde gången vi bor här, särskilt eftersom läget är fantastiskt. Gångavstånd till Coggee och enkelt att ta sig till andra ställen med lightrailen. De delade badrummen städas ofta och hålla rena. Rummen är små, men funkar bra trots allt. Det hade dock varit väldigt bra med fler krokar inne på rummen.

Stayed in the family room with 3 adults plenty of room. Bathroom was lovely, had heating. Comfortable bed, room was clean. Was ground level beside the road bit noisy but not too bad. Easy to find, great location beside shops/restaurants. Easy to access if out late. Lovely staff. Close to public transport.

The room was fine, however I came in, there was a dirty plate near the kettle on arrival, the mattress was severely damaged, and uncomfortable, we struggled to sleep. I also put the sign on the door for the room to be cleaned. My husband and I were out all day morning to evening and we came back and it had not been touched.

Clean rooms and share bathroom were kept clean. Could use a few more hooks to hang towels, etc, but a small gripe for a convenient location and friendly helpful staff.

Convenient for my travel purposes

I had booked for a service animal intentionally as I just broke up with my boyfriend 2 days before going on a family trip that my dad payed for.... and he moved all of my stuff into storage/ so I collected my dog and by the time I got back to the "boutique hotel" there was no one as reception so they left a key in the letterbox.... then woke me up after a 10 hour flight at 9am and said I couldn't have my service animal? Completely disappointed in this hotel and I would not recommend it to ANYONE. Lots of love @jaydeturnerledwidge

Beautiful old restored building in a central location , clean and comfortable with windows that open to let in the fresh air.

Very clean

Our stay at The Alison was quite good. Reception lady was very friendly & helpful. Parking was secure & very convenient. Lovely comfy bed, clean bathroom( although tiny ). Great proximity to the light rail. The only downside was that our room was at the front & traffic noise was very loud & constant. We’d stay again but request a room further back, if possible.

Perfect location. Clean and clear communication if late check in.

Great location, close to restaurants and also centennial park

This property was close to public transport, within just walking distance from the tram which made it amazing to stay at. Only downfall was our room faced out to the Main Street and you could hear the cars passing by quite loudly. Didn’t bother us too much as it was just a one night stay for a concert so we were barely in the room, so it suited us well
