Great property. Restaurant on main floor is unreal. Rooms are small but I knew what I was getting into.

Great location, rooms and service.

Nice hotel, a couple of things. 1. Service is slow, check in and out takes way longer than it needs to 2. The lift chime noise is unnecessarily loud and can be heard all night in the lifts 3. Lots of bright little appliance lights in the rooms, need to cover them with things, the aircon box is bright neon light that lights up the room. 4. There is not water in the room, they just give you a cup and expect you to fill it with bathroom tap water The hotel is otherwise very nice, close to lots of great bars, restaurants and cafes

this company charged me $14.52 to use my debit card, they are just gouging. I will find out who to report them to. I will never stay there again I will go back to the Novotel on Collins.

Great location, close to the city but quieter and safer. Ten minute walk to Fitzroy Pool, 2 min walk to trams, convenience stores and restaurants. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Highly recommended

We couldn’t be happier with our stay at StandardX —everything exceeded our expectations! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the incredible staff. They were exceptionally friendly, attentive, and truly made us feel welcome and well cared for throughout our visit. Our room was absolutely perfect—spotlessly clean, beautifully fresh, and wonderfully comfortable. The bed was a dream, and the bathroom was modern and pristine. We were especially impressed by the thoughtful details, such as fresh milk for coffee in the fridge, cozy bathrobes, and even a portable speaker for use during our stay. The small yet meaningful touches made all the difference. There was even an option to borrow an umbrella, which we didn’t need but appreciated nonetheless. A highlight of the hotel is definitely the rooftop terrace, offering breathtaking views of the Melbourne skyline. It’s a must-visit spot during your stay! And then there’s the breakfast—easily the best we’ve ever had at a hotel. Every bite was simply delicious and it was an absolute delight to start our mornings with such a wonderful meal. In summary, we have only positive things to say about our experience. We wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for an unforgettable stay, and we can’t wait to return ourselves. Thank you to the team for making our visit so special!

This stay at the standard was incredible. By far the best place I have ever stayed. The service was amazing the hotel itself was beautiful and the food was fantastic. Would stay here every time in Melbourne.

Very quick trip to the Standard X. I loved it. Very funky, eclectic and clean. Staff were also very helpful. Crab donuts in the restaurant were amazing!!!
