Had a fantastic stay at the residence at star staff at reception were helpful.
However we did have an issue with the car park the number plate recognition was not working so every time we needed to get out which on some days was 2-3 times we had to go to reception in order to get out and then go back up to the car. Considering we were paying $20. A day for the car park which became truly inconvenient.

The apartment was very clean, property condition is as new, we really enjoyed staying there, front desk service was excellent, the lift was quite fast, not that much waiting time 👍👍

We stayed in the Star Residence for 1 night and it was incredible experience! The view was a million dollars and we had everything we needed. Overall it was beyond our expectation!

Too expensive but excellent space. It suited our needs. The lift situation, during a busy week, was terrible. Long delays causing stress when we needed to be somewhere quickly.
The location was great and walkable to restaurants and shops.

Loved staying here- weather was bad and being at the Star meant everything we needed was at our fingertips and under cover. Great location. Apartment was clean, modern and bright. Will definitely stay here again

Our 5 night stay was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The attention to detail was evident in every corner of the property. The staff was polite. The sea and Hinterland view from our residence was spectacular. The view at night time was magical as well. Kids and us enjoyed the pool, the restaurants, the bar and other facilities of the property. Our stay was a very pleasant experience.

upon arriving to check in, we had to wait 30 mins in a queue of unhappy customers. Most waiting to also check in. many of them had been told their rooms were not clean, even though it was 4:30 and check in starting at 3pm. No one working there really seemed to care that everyone was waiting.
Every time we wanted to use the lift we had to wait at least 5 minutes before we could find one empty enough to take us down to level 1. The lifts go all the way to the top, and stops at any floor with people waiting, this means that we (level 24) had 30 levels worth of people before us. This experience was shocking.
Also the room was averagely clean, the bedding didnt even have a doona cover, just a sheet and and doona seperately. The doona was stained as well, as photos was shown. It wasnt comfortable now knowing whether our bedding was clean or not.

There is not enough signage in the parking area, one has trouble finding the area
The in-house phone didn’t work and as there was no ironing board, it took 3 calls to finally get an ironing board….. my toaster was broken and that took 2 calls and an hour to receive a replacement
There are not enough lifts for the amount of traffic on weekends….. sometimes a 30 minute wait for the lift

I love the view, New Year's fireworks were just in front of our balcony, the distribution of the apartment, the sauna and steen room, the location, ocean view.

Beautiful rooms/property, shower pressure quite low and elevators took a while due to being peak season but other than that would definitely stay again! Plenty to do in the area for all ages, would highly recommend :)

The apartment was clean, modern, and large. The rooms are very bright with no black out blinds. We had 3 staying and had to call to request towels for all 3 people.
No check-in information sent so there was confusion on checkin about which reception and which carpark on which level and would access the apartment. Staff were not helpful. For example - presented to star checkin with my luggage for checkin. They checked the reservation then asked me to park the car and return for checkin. We parked car and returned for checkin. Then told that we are in the wrong building and need to drive to other building for checkin. A bit of a nightmare if traveling with lots of luggage and a young child.
Must have advance reservations to access the restaurants at Star except the buffet. We paid $100 per person for the buffet - I do not feel the meal was worth the cost.
Very busy building lifts - it was not usual to wait 10 minutes to get a lift that can accept passengers.

Stay overall was great , property was central to the places we were needing. Restaurant we ate at was great , food was fresh , full of taste and good service. Comment/ feedback really is the tiles in the lifts and shared areas from those using the pools become really slippery and unsafe for some footwear.

The hotel is amazing—beautifully designed and well-maintained. However, there are a few things that could be improved. The blinds in the rooms do not block out the light in the morning, as there are no blackout curtains. This makes it difficult for children to sleep comfortably due to the brightness from outside. Addressing this issue would greatly enhance the overall experience.

Convenient location for shopping, dining and the beach. Property is well maintained and the staff are extremely helpful. Paid parking is on level 3 of the casino, my advice would be to park here prior to check in. The reception driveway is a bottleneck/small and narrow. Elevators are insufficient for the height of building and the number of units. Wait times of more than 10 minutes during busy times.

The staff were rude, the apartment was filthy, we extended a night and the reception were definitely not nice or helpful nearly making us change rooms. The receptionists both bad bad breath and poor people skills I won’t be staying again ever. The wait time to get down to the level our car park was on took 45 mins upon check out it’s ridiculous and I don’t recommend.
