City view room was spacious and well appointed with extensive views over local sports field and the city. We really appreciated the separate and well appointed dressing/wardrobe area. Whilst the bathroom was well appointed it was disappointedly small and cramped and a regrout of the shower tiles needed. Staff were competent and friendly, especially those associated with food and beverage. What was missing was a small designated bar/lounge area - a suggestion would be to include such an area off the large breakfast space. Public Transport a few minutes away - very convenient.

호텔은 전체적으로 좋았습니다. 컨시어지 서비스는 마음에 들었습니다. 총 2박을 했는데, 조금 아쉬웠던 부분은 첫날엔 호텔 어메니티가 바디&핸드워시 3개, 샴푸 1개가 있어서 응??이랬는데, 두번째 날에는 바디&핸드워시 1, 샴푸 1, 컨디셔너 1, 바디로션 1개로 바뀌어 있었습니다. 아마 첫날에 직원분이 실수를 하신것 같습니다. 또, 칫솔, 치약, 물, 호텔가운 및 슬리퍼는 없었고요.. 알고보니 호주 자체가 무료 물을 제공하지 않는 추세라고 하네요, 참고하시고 사전에 물이랑 칫솔, 치약 사가시는게 좋을듯 합니다. 그리고, 방 문을 여닫을때 끼긱 거리는 소리가 나서 조금 거슬렸습니다. 마지막으로, 호스텔닷컴 vip라서 16불 상당의 음료 바우처를 주길래, 아침에 바우처 주면서 주스를 주문하려고 했더니, 무조건 거피만 된다고 하길래, 바우처에 적혀있는걸 보여주며 커피, 주스, 칵테일, 맥주가 가능함이라고 써있는걸 보여줬는데도 직원들이 잘 모르는것 같아 그냥 커피 받았습니다..ㅠㅠ 참고로, 체크인할때 디파짓으로 5불 카드 결제 되고, 돼지코 안챙겨오신 분들은 리셉션에 문의하면 여행용 돼지코 빌려 주는데 체크아웃할때 반납 안하시면 25불 청구 된다고 합니다.

Handy access to trams. Overall though, this is a hotel that aspires to be ‘Toorak’ but is more like ‘Franga’(Frankston). Our room was just so incredibly filthy and dusty, black mold in the bathroom, USB connections not working, and the room had only one housekeeping scheduled during our 4 day stay. Carpets had not been vacuumed. A huge dumpster below our window where rubbish was emptied at all hours, hugely sleep deprived, the room opposite was partying all night anyway, the front desk doesn’t answer the phone from the room. The pool was out of order and doesn’t look like it’ll ever reopen. The duty manager was good enough to change our room, but quite honestly the best part of the ‘View’ was in the leaving.

Horrible expérience, on m'a mit dans une chambre communicante, les occupants de la chambre voisine, visiblement éméchés, ont fait la fête toute la nuit, impossible de fermer l'œil dans ce type de chambre !!!! J'ai demandé à changer de chambre : refus. La seconde nuit , exactement la même chose. J'ai passé 2 nuits à ne pas dormir du tout et aucun remboursement. J'ai donc payé, pour ne pas dormir, scandaleux ! Déjeuner très moyen également.

Beautiful view from my room. I loved waking up to the skyline. The room was very spacious but extremely old furnishing. There were also moths in the room that were coming out of a nook but otherwise a nice place to be and not too far from the Australian open.

While this is in a great location and well priced it is very shabby and is in need of a desperate update and maintenance. Our bathroom was mouldy and poorly maintained. No face washers .. we had to ask for tea bags as only 1 in the caddy. We had no ironing board and a broken night light. Staff friendly enough. We booked through Expedia as advised by staff when we wanted to book with the hotel. We have stayed here many times over the past 15 years and it seems to get shabbier with each visit making it difficult to remain loyal to The View.

The staff is not helpful! We forgot our passports in the safe and recognized it in Adelaide. Nobody from housekeeping found them and informed us. Afterwards they did not offer any support to us as we asked them to send them to us via post (of course against money). The post office was in 5 min walking distance but they told us that they dont have staff to bring them and they will not help us. As well we did not have towels in our room.
