The hotel has a really good location close to Main Beach and restaurants and shops. However, the hotel is quite expensive and feels a little bit outdated for the price. It’s a gap under the doors so we found a cockroach that came from outside. Not uncommon for Australia but could be prevented with better sealed doors. Great with parking included!

Staff, extras like umbrellas and coffee machine and extras daily. daily house keeping and friendly staff!

The position is fantastic, the room was vast, comfortable and clean, and the staff were wonderful. The bathroom is great and the living! Bedroom is good, but it really needs maintenance in the courtyard. Overall it is a bit tired, but the space amd.position make.ip for that, and I would definitely stay there again

The hotel is not charming as it would look in the website photos. I was expecting more of a view for US $ 200 but we were off the reception area, room 1, facing a wall. The room was quite large easily fitting 3 people and the bathroom was very large as well. The hotel is nice but dated and the breakfast is in the reception area. It is sad that a hotel so close to the beach does not have a breakfast room or terrace looking into the water. But the staff is welcoming and helpful. The breakfast is just bananas (organic) and tangerine and muffins (they were good) and the coffee was good as well. Word of caution if you have arthritis in your hand, the door handle is large, round and smooth so very difficult to grip and turn.

I booked a Boutique Suite for myself and daughter. We were put into a disabled room with no bath, and the room was on the ground floor with a laneway nearby - didn't feel safe. I didn't ask for a disabled room and this was not what was advertised when we booked. I spoke to the woman on Reception - no apology. She said they were fully booked and yet the family checking in before us who arrived with an extra person, were given an upgrade. Very poor customer service and they need to offer Boutique Suites that are for able-bodied people and separately for disabled people, otherwise this is false advertising. The position of the hotel is good. I didn't try the coffee or muffins in the morning (a bit of a gimmick) - I prefer a proper breakfast but they have no kichen. And, if you use a sofa-bed, they give you the linen to make up the bed! I will stay elsewhere next time.
