It was ok. I personally like to use a wood heater and to see Kangaroos.

A wonderful place to base yourself in the Hunter Valley that provides a very comfortable stay.

The villa has a nice outlook over the mountains but is a bit far from Pokolbin and Cessnock. We were also a bit disconcerted that the bathroom wall did not go all the way t the ceiling.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Wine Country Villas. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the peaceful surroundings, sweeping views, and the thoughtful touches that made the villa feel like a home away from home. The accommodation was spotless, spacious, and beautifully appointed—with a cozy fireplace, generous breakfast provisions, and a balcony that was perfect for sipping wine as the sun set over the valley. The location is ideal—tucked away just enough for privacy and serenity, yet only minutes from top wineries, restaurants, and attractions in the Hunter Valley. The hosts were warm, responsive, and clearly passionate about creating a memorable guest experience. Highly recommended for couples, families, or anyone looking to unwind in style. We’ll definitely be back!

Ons huisje was geweldig. Zeer schoon en een mooi uitzicht. Het huisje was van alle gemaken voorzien. Een gevulde koelkast en een goed bbq. Zwembad is ook heerlijk. De ligging is ook top. Het is lekker rustig en kleinschalig. Erg vriendelijke eigenaar en heel behulpzaam. Ik raad het iedereeen aan.

Very lovely place, stunning location, amazing pool, and loved the generously filled fridge and pantry to take care of a few breakfast. The main drawback is this weird choice to have the wall separating bedroom and bathroom not going the whole way to the ceiling...not great for privacy. But everything else great!

Great venue, spotless and great breakfast hamper. 5 min drive to Cypress Lakes and wineries .

A beautiful quiet country setting. Very peaceful and comfortable. Enjoyed the ample breakfast that was provided. Only stools to sit on to eat. A table and chairs would have been good. Having a pool was a bonus.

Great place , we have stayed there multiple times and will continue to do so in the future.

Great breakfast supply, really nice bathroom. Clean and well presented. Only negative was the very strong bleach smell when we walked in, but this cleared after opening windows. Great time!

Quiet location, short drive to Town Village.

Very comfortable bed with quality linen. Extra towels provided. Great swimming pool but would be good if they added a few more pool chairs and umbrellas. We couldn’t use the pool one day as other guests had claimed all the shade! Breakfast was provided (bacon, eggs & English muffins) Would have appreciated muesli, yoghurt & fruit option. There is a Nescafé Dolce Gusto coffee machine, but we didn’t like the coffee it made! Would prefer a plunger. Mosquitoes were bad when we were there, but we had taken insect repellent and fly spray was provided. Nice, but very small bathroom. Only a very tiny washbasin and no-where to put toiletries. The bathroom rubbish bin hadn’t been emptied from previous guests. Thankfully not much in there but still not ideal. A/C is very effective for living area, but even with the fans on we struggled to cool the upper sleeping area on the very hot days.
