1. Very nice and helpful staff at the reception. Employees at the restaurant cannot really communicate or answer questions unfortunately (other than the lovely woman in breakfast) 2. Very nice, large, clean, comfortable rooms 3. Food was mostly good, large choice of salads and vegetables 4. The pool is nice BUT slippery and dangerous. It will end badly if not taken care of 5. No outside area for kids at all, and the indoor room is not nice at all 6. Area is beautiful, just in front of the cable car, nice views, nice river

This was our first time visiting Austria and we were not disappointed! As a family of four with two children age 6 and 10 the location of the hotel and the facilities offered by the hotel was second to none. Specifically the included pool pass to the local water park was outstanding. The safe environment of the hotel and the local area meant it was the first time we felt that we could leave the kids somewhat unattended and meant we could properly relax. All local amenities are in walking distance, (snow lifts, walks up the mountains, local shops). Staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The room was clean and tidy with ample space, two separate bathrooms was a welcomed surprise! We did the all inclusive option but there is plenty of utilities to do self catering if you prefer (oven, hob, fridge, freezer etc). Perhaps the only negative, but this is probably the case with all holidays, the all inclusive option was very good but the buffet did get a bit tedious towards the end. One recommendation for the hotel would be to improve their coffee and offer oat milk, but that is because we are coffee snobs. All in all this was such an amazing experience and would we come back……it’s a huge yes from us!

Amazing family friendly property in the heart of gorgeous Alps. Rooms are very spacious and well equipped, staff was very friendly and the dining was amazing. There are countless hiking / family activity options in a close proximity. We definitely want to come back again perhaps in the winter to enjoy skiing. Wholeheartedly recommended!

Abschließend kann ich dem Grafenberg-Resort für unsere Zeit dort 4 von 5 Sternen geben und ist an den Erwartungen angelehnt, die wir vor Reiseantritt hatten. Wie die Einschätzung zu Stande kommt gebe ich hier an: Zimmer absolut sauber und groß. Werden halt nicht jedes Jahr gestrichen. Wer sich daran stört, bitte… Betten gefühlt tatsächlich etwas durchgelegen. Spar-Bereich mit einem Pool und 2 Saunen überschaubar. Für Zwischendurch aber voll ok, wir machen ja keinen Hotelurlaub. Um den Pool alles sehr glatt (RUTSCHGEFAHR) mit Schlappen aber kein Problem, die man aus hygienischen Gründen schon tragen sollte. Dampfsauna war zu unserer Zeit viel zu heiss oder gar nicht richtig in Betrieb. Generell könnte man den Saunabereich auch vor 15.30 Uhr öffnen bzw. nach dem Wetter ausrichten. Essen war sehr gut und mit ausreichender Auswahl. Mittags gibt es „lediglich“ Suppe, aber das wusste man ja vorher und ist aufgrund der Lage verständlich und auch völlig in Ordnung. Getränke nicht original (Cola/Fanta usw) aber auch hier für uns kein Grund zum meckern. Wer sich hier stört, sollte vielleicht einmal das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis auf den Prüfstand stellen und sich im Hilton einmieten. Service außerordentlich klasse. Das Personal war immer freundlich, hilfsbereit und zu jederzeit bemüht uns den Aufenthalt so gut wie möglich zu gestalten. Wir (Familie mit 2 Kindern) wollten Aktivurlaub machen und die Gegend erkunden. Das ist im Grafenberg-Resort sehr gut machbar.

Es war ein super toller Familienurlaub, die Zimmer waren super groß es gab zwei separate Zimmer mit Bad. Am Essen konnte man auch nichts aussetzen es war abwechslungsreich und für jeden was dabei

Leider ließ die Sauberkeit und die Umsetzung der Coronaregeln sehr zu wünschen übrig. Im ersten Zimmer fanden wir ein Schlafsofa vor, dass nach Urin roch, im Ersatzzimmer, dass angeboten wurde nachdem kein Putzpersonal mehr zur Verfügung stand, begrüßte uns in der Toilette die große Hinterlassenschaft des Vorgängers. Diese Sauberkeitsmängel sind besonders während Corona nicht akzeptabel und hätten bei der Reinigung auffallen müssen. Da fragt man sich schon ob/wie in diesem Hotel geputzt wird.

Onze eerste keer in Oostenrijk. En we vonden het fantastisch. Onder meer door het verblijf in het grafenberg resort. Bij aankomst zijn we vriendelijk onthaald. Het appartement was proper en alle voorzieningen zijn aanwezig. De grote ramen in het appartement geven een extra ruim gevoel. Het eten was lekker en voldoende variatie. Het was een fijn, proper en kindvriendelijk verblijf. Wij komen zeker nog terug.

The rooms (more appartments) are huge, 10p can sleep here although that might be somewhat crowded. The hotel is opposite the funicular railway which connects walkways in the mountains between Flachau, Wagrain and St Johan. Especially fun for families with kids, there is a lot to do! The food is great and so is the staff. COVID-19 measurements in the restaurant: it’s buffet style and everyone uses a plastic glove on one hand so no one touches anything. The staff wears facemasks. The guests wears them, depending on where they are from. It’s not mandatory in the restaurant. The WiFi is great everywhere and extremely fast. The mattresses are very (!) hard and the water pressure in the showers is low. We missed a fitness room and there are no massages possible in these COVID-19 times, but if you really want to, you can go to the sporthotel opposite, they also offer this to guests from other hotels. If you’re hesitating: don’t! It’s a wonderful hotel in a beautiful area with lots to do! We stayed here for two weeks in the summer, but would have loved to stay a lot longer.

Grafenberg Resort is een mooi hotel. De appartementen zijn ruim, het is prettig om (als je met een gezin bent) apart van de kinderen te kunnen slapen. De keuken is ook ruim en je hebt een eethoek plus hoekbank. Wij zaten op de begane grond en hadden buiten een terras. Dit was wel open dus onze 2-jarige dochter kon zo weglopen, dit was een minpunt dat het niet afgesloten was. Andere kamers hebben een balkon. Daarnaast vonden wij de bedden niet super. Wel op elke kamer nog een TV. Ook hadden we 2 badkamers, erg prettig. Het eten was voldoende tot prima. Verschillend per dag en smaak. Maar ruime keuze. Binnen is een zwembad, voor een paar baantjes trekken prima maar je hebt ook een gastenkaart om gratis te zwemmen in Wasserwelt, een aanrader! De omgeving van Wagrain is fantastisch, je loopt van het hotel zo naar de Grafenberg bergbahn. Hierboven is het voor de kinderen ook fantastisch om te lopen en te spelen.

Ideal für Familienurlaub! Die Zimmer sind sehr schön! Vor allem sind sie leise, kein Lärm aus den anderen Zimmern oder dem Gang zu hören. Das Personal war ausgesprochen freundlich, hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend!
