Wir haben ein wundervolles Wochenende in Brügge verbracht. Insbesondere auch aufgrund des sehr schönen Hotels, welches eine sehr gute Lage hat. Nahe zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten, aber in einer ruhigen Seitenstraße. Ein perfekter Frühstücks-Service, keine Buffet, so beginnt der Tag entspannt.

This B&B was extraordinary. The host John was so friendly and most helpful. His home is like a gallery of beautiful artworks. The striking glass window reflected that this was once the home and workshop of stain glass artisans. Our Ruben’s room was exquisite, one of the most beautiful rooms we have ever stayed in. Wish we had time to have stayed longer. The room was spotless, the shower was hot and the bed and furniture so comfortable. The breakfast was delicious, perfectly prepared omelette and eggs and a basket of delicious baked goods. The location was just 10 minute walk from the market square. We would come back in a heart back.

We loved our stay - beautiful room, wonderful breakfast, John was outstanding with whatever help we needed … restaurants, sights, local tips. It was a special place, excellent location for walking. Highly recommend!

Outstanding hospitality prepared us to find and do everything we wanted to accomplish in this fascinating town. Historically fascinating accommodations. Large, comfortable, immaculate rooms. Highly recommend.

Es handelt sich nicht um ein Hotel, sondern um eine Frühstückspension mit 5 Zimmern, die mit höchster und angenehmster Personaleffizienz (2) bewitschaftet werden. Alle hoteltypischen Merkmale in dieser Preiskategorie wie Lobby, Bar, Rezeption, Sauna, Wellness fehlen. Das Ambiente ist einzigartig. Neogotisch renoviertes Haus mit Mobiliar von Empire über Historismus zum Jugendstil. Der Frühstücksraum ist das ehemalige Atelier des Künstlers, der Ende des 19.Jh. das Haus umbaute. Sollte man erlebt haben. Gäbe ich 5 Sterne, bliebe für`s Sacher in Wien nichts mehr übrig.

The Huis 't Schaep is beyond outstanding. It made our stay in Bruge such a memorable trip for my wife and I. More specifically, John is a truly amazing host with an exceptional hospitality. We never thought that we would meet such a caring and kind individual like him. Everything in this place, include the breakfast, exceeded our expectation!

This is an amazing property! The food, staff, and room were top notch. Will definitely plan to stay here again. You will be impressed. Mike was phenomenal- he greeted us, showed us a map of all the churches, restaurants and areas to catch the boat for a canal tour of the city. Thank you to Michael and his family for a wonderful stay. The property is in a fantastic location and Michael provided excellent advice on walking routes and points of interest. The breakfast was fabulous. This was one of my all times favourite stays away.

Lovely old building, 399 years old. Great location. Massive bedroom, beautifully furnished. Very friendly owners / staff. Breakfasts were memorable.

Unser verlängertes Wochenende in Brügge (3 Nächte) war einfach top, was zu einem großen Teil an der Unterkunft und den erstklassigen Gastgebern lag. Schon vor der Anreise bekamen wir telefonisch erste Hinweise zu Anreise und Parkmöglichkeiten. Im Hotel angekommen, erhielten wir einen Stadtplan, auf dem Michael unseren Vorlieben entsprechend Restaurants, Sehenswürdigkeiten und Spazierwege einzeichnete / markierte. Der Tag startete mit einem leckeren Frühstück, das für jeden Tisch individuell und frisch in der Küche zubereitet wurde. Smalltalk und weitere Tipps für die Tagesgestaltung waren dabei inklusive - und das Ganze in mindestens vier verschiedenen Sprachen ;). Für die Abende bekamen wir das Angebot, dass für uns ein Tisch in umliegenden Restaurants reserviert werden könne. Für den Samstag haben wir dies so angenommen - das hat alles prima geklappt und die Empfehlung hat für uns voll ins Schwarze getroffen. Während des Aufenthaltes vergewisserten sich die Gastgeber immer wieder, dass alles in Ordnung ist / ob wir noch Zusatzwünsche haben etc. Vielen Dank!

I have been using Hotels.com for my bookings over a decade and this is my first 10 star rating. A very deserving one. Huis T’Schaep is a family run bed and breakfast. This beautiful listed building is very unique with interesting fine detailing you would normally find in churches. It’s location is very convenient to access the train station and visit some of the most important landmarks such as the Notre Dame of Bruges. Michael and his family go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. We have been upgraded (free of charge) to a beautiful suite and have been very spoiled with the excellent choices for breakfast. The recommendations we received from Michael for sightseeing & souvenir shopping were spot on. Overall, it was a very pleasurable stay. I highly recommend it.
