Ka'ana Resort

I had a great time room was beautiful, plunge pool was mainly hot due to the sun felt like a hot tub which im not complaining about. The misuse was amazing I highly recommend getting a massage from her a great experience. Only thing I'd give 2 stars was the food it was alight, definitely could have been better. The staff was always there when I needed them very attentive to every need.

The hotel is nice with a beautiful garden, but it’s not a good value for money. Everything is extra, including the room coffee which is $5 USD per day, after paying 900 USD for two nights! Breakfast is à la carte and the size is tiny. They charge service fee for the room mini bar. The restaurant is very expensive and does not serve local food.

The property grounds and staff there made the experience amazing and memorable. I only have an issue with a couple small things. My toilet broke on the first flush. Housekeeping was quick to fix the issue however. Also, I can tell the towels were cheap, the dinner rolls at the restaurant were microwaved, and the in room bar snacks were old. It would be nice if the owner invested more into these small details. For the rate per night, it must compete well with other luxury hotels. Overall, great stay though.

The room was clean.The grounds were clean.The pool was clean.Granted,some of the areas were a little tired like the edge of the pool.The slate rock work was missing a pice here and there.Our AC broke down on our 2nd to last day in our room.The staff was very understanding and moved us right next door.Same quality unit so very easy move.Our breakfast next morning was free.What really stood out was the food ad the bar service.The staff was amazing.Everyone of them was very friendly and enjoyable.All in all,this resort is amazing.I would highly reccomend staying here.Simply put, the best staff i have encountered in a resort,hotel etc. ever.

Incredible service. The property was not as fancy as some other resorts in Belize, but the staff made up for this . The food at cafe was good too. Comfortable bed.

The staff is great, and the food is really good. Ask for a free tour of the organic garden on site.

Every detail was looked after. Fantastic staff, especially in the restaurant and bar. Beautiful room, lots of privacy. The location is great if you're looking to visit ruins, and the staff can set up trips and recommend places to go.

Had a wonderful stay at Ka'ana, highly recommend. The rooms/casitas were fantastic, very clean, comfortable, and the outdoor tub/shower area were gorgeous. Loved the infinity pool and walking around the gardens. Staff was very helpful, and the restaurant was great-great service, great menu, everything we ordered was delicious. Great place to base out of for doing some adventuring around San Ignacio.

O ka'ana resort não foi tão bom quanto eu pensava no cafe da manhã ele teve a falta do basico como ovos e suco de laranja. O atendimento dos garçons era muita lento, até na entrada. A comida gostosa, mais o menu não tinha opções varidas para os convidados. O quarto aconchegante para nós, varanda com um chuvero e também a varanda tinha uma banheira, a cama grande e macia para relaxar. O banheiro muito grande e bom.

10/10 experience! Not only was the resort beautiful the staff were attentive and friendly. Any need I had they went above and beyond to fulfill. The resort also was a 8 min drive from downtown San Ignacio which was very convenient. My cousin and I left sad to leave such a paradise. Highly recommend and hope to come back in the future!

The staff were amazing and very knowledgeable on all things Belize. The food was always delicious. Room keeping came at least twice per day and left delicious treats at night. The organic garden is beautiful and is part of the food menu!! Fresh and delicious food. We participated in the Mayan cooking class it was fantastic. We also completed the Xunantunich Historical Site tour and Cave Tubing through the hotel- excellent guide and we learned a lot about the Mayans. From the moment we arrived - we were offered cool hand towels and a refreshing fresh fruit drink to the moment we left, we were treated as VIP’s. Will stay here again and recommend to our friends!! Thank-you for an amazing experience!!

The room was beautiful and spotless and rhe staffe were fantastic. They went out of their way to be proactive and helpful. I wish it had been a longer stay.

Amazing

Breakfast was very fresh and well presented and served. Room was clean and well serviced. All the staff were very helpful, friendly and welcoming with a very refreshing drink served on arrival. We didn’t use the spa but enjoyed the pool. The shuttle service was also convenient as we didn’t have a car. A great stay - thank you!

Best Hotel in San Ignacio

Ka’ana Resort was one of the absolute highlights of our trip to San Ignacio. The moment we arrived, the staff made us feel like VIPs who accidentally wandered into luxury. The property is stunning. Lush gardens, peaceful paths, and a pool that practically begs you to forget whatever plans you had for the day. Our room was spotless and incredibly comfortable. I’m still not sure how the bed was that soft, but I’ve accepted that my mattress at home will never live up to it. The food and drinks were amazing too. Every meal felt like something we should have taken pictures of but ate too quickly. What impressed us most was the service. Every single person we met was warm, attentive, and seemed genuinely happy we were there. It’s rare to stay somewhere that feels this personal and still completely effortless. Ka’ana is the perfect home base for all the adventures around San Ignacio, but also the kind of place where you seriously consider cancelling your plans and just staying by the pool with a cocktail. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone thinking about visiting.
