The service was amazing hector and Trish kenroy were very polite very helpful. I loved the free coffee. I also loved are room it felt really intimate safe and everything worked in the room! What we didn’t like was the limited hours on the private beach I feel like slow season or busy season we should be allowed to stay until sunset the hotel should offer sunset dinner on the private beach! We rented bed which was 60 dollars plus food why can’t I watch a sunset from the bed I purchased for the whole day.

The staff is very friendly and polite. Getting thru the resort was easy with a golf cart which you can rent from the resort. The rooms are nice and comfortable. Only negative there is alot of construction going on around the property so be prepared to see alot of construction equipment and supplies.

We spent five amazing nights at Mahogany Bay Resort in San Pedro and loved every moment. The resort is made up of charming private cottages and homes, offering a unique and peaceful experience. A highlight was the private beach—a short boat ride away and absolutely worth it. The staff was excellent, the on-site restaurant was great, and the location made it easy to explore local food and culture. It was the perfect mix of relaxation and access to the best of San Pedro. Highly recommend.

It was very good. The staff is very professional.

Overall, it was fairly easy getting to the property. I didn't really understand why there was a resort fee when some of the amenities were not avaliable (private beach was closed for 3 days and the restaurants that were there, were closed half the time). I had to call several times about the a/c being out and they said it was colon cooling and gave me various reasons why it wasn't cooling. Finally, they switched our room and there was a noticeable difference. In the new room, the TV cable and local channels were not available (but we did have access in the previous room). They said they would send someone to look at it, but no one came. I came again and waited another hour with no one arriving to fix the issue. We called again after we went out, then 2 people came back to back to disconnect the cable cord and put it back in, but it still didn't work. The next person said she would have IT come and take a look, but no one ever came back. They tried to say that someone was working on the cable line. I was just very disappointed overall.

Loved the property. Very friendly staff throughout the entire stay. My only disappointment is that the weekend we arrived was the last weekend for the private beach club and we weren’t made aware of that due to the offseason. We luckily got to attend 1 time at least. Great amenities. The golf cart noise wasn’t anywhere near as bad as previous guests have stated. It was my birthday weekend and they decorated my room for me. Would definitely visit again.

The hotel was well maintained and beautiful. Loved the private beach. Needed more night life, entertainment.

It has potential but not quite there yet. Give it a couple more yrs. Still under construction.

For the money it was not the best stay ended up checking a day early

This resort is amazing and we will definitely be back. The staff is friendly, views are amazing, rooms are all great. The only complaint I have is that there is alot of construction going on on the property and works were banging by 7:30 AM. Unfortunately we couldn't sleep in with all the noise. It would be great if there were some all inclusive options as it's quite costly with all the food. Really great place though. Teenagers loved it.

We came to this property, generational family trip. Mom, Dad, kids, and grandkids. Each of the adults work out so a gym was important, Check! A toddler needed shallow water, beautiful beach/pool, shallow water included, check! Great restaurants and transportation. There were few homes on the island where the sargass on the beach was managed, this resort managed it very well and the beach was wonderful. Don't get stressed over the transportation to the beach, quick and easy, just get to boat early. We stayed alone, Mom and Dad, after being with full family, walked the beachfronts of many resorts and not all beaches were cleaned or ac essable due to unmaintained grass removal. The house had a little wear, wood floors, but balancing amenities, cleanliness, custermer service and beach, made it well worth it. Have fun in Belize!

The fact that it has a private beach is what makes this place stand out. It's very beautiful. However, you need to take a shuttle boat ride to get there (15mns) which is also great, but the shuttle service should last longer than 5:15pm. Also, when we were there, their 3 boats broke down and we had to wait for them to get/rent another one. To rent a cabana on the water is $75 a day! Even empty they won't workout a price for you! The power went out one day, I don't know why they don't have generators for the cabanas for guests. They should take advantage of solar power which they don't. Everything is expensive on the island/hotel. I understand that it's an island but most of their products come from Mexico! It's right there! and the fish comes from their own sea so.. why so expensive!? This is a general comment of Belize itself. The Hotel is nice and worth it.
