The room was very hot, as the air conditioning was poorly working. The check in staff was apparently unfriendly. We had to request to have bath towels as it wasn’t prepared. The toilet paper wasn’t prepared enough and there was no extra so that we had to use our own. We recommend not to stay here.

Acceptable

Had a great rate there, very good service and nice that you can use the facilities of Novotel. The beds are a little bit too soft, could be firmer. The gym is nice, but it is too hot. investment is needed in better airconditioning. breakfast is decent, but could do with better coffee and muesli.

Le petit déjeuner pas fameux, d'ailleurs j'ai eu mal au ventre après un petit déjeuner. Malgré le fait que le petit déjeuner était inclus dans mon forfait, j'ai préféré aller au Novotel à coté et payer pour le petit déjeuner. Bref je n'ai pas profité de mon petit déjeuner inclus dans mon fortrait.

There is a noticeable odor inside hallways and rooms yet served its 1 night stay purpose. This would not be a long-term stay for me, 2 nights max. Small side-note, it is next door to the Novotel Orisha Hotel.

Localização é muito boa, piscina fica no hotel do lado, mas super acessível. Quarto é ok.

I did not use the pool but overall it is excellent.

It's a 2 star hotel with 2 star service! You get what you pay for. Don't expect anything more

The staff was amazing. Super friendly, made me feel at home. In honor of my gracious hosts I purchased the local attire and they loved it and made me feel so welcome at home, BENIN 🇧🇯 truly is a very nice place to visit. I’ll be back again.

Ibis is always a reliable go to hotel when you’re looking for great value. The Ibis in Cotonou, although showing some wear and tear is still great value and it is clean with great service. Because you also have access to the Novotel pool and on site gym facilities you will lack nothing.

Il y avait un peu d'odeur dans les chambres sentant le renfermé et des tâches sur le lit. Malheureusement pas de photos pris.

Very tiny space and the room was stuffy.

Ibis had the only availability in my companies range. I have stayed in Ibis elsewhere and was satisfied. The staff was nice and polite but the hotel is old and the rooms smell of mold. The breakfast is very basic and the water pressure and temperature is up and down. The only plus is that since it’s owned by Novotel (which is next door) you can go over and use their facilities and dine. Mold in rooms. Mini fridge leaking water in floor. The employees are doing the best they can but this hotel badly needs renovation.
