칸토스 다 마타

This is not a lodge for bird watchers. There are four rooms and a outdoor eating area in the middle of the woods. There is no reception, the guests are alone, the person who does the cooking and is excellent at that and also cleans the rooms is there several times a day but she doesn't speak English. The area is very good for birds, while we were there they had young people staying to party and play loud music. Don't stay over the weekends unless you are there to party. They don't have air conditioning which is fine as you can open your shutters and get cool air. If you open the shutters, any conversation, smoking etc. outside the rooms you hear and smell. Not a place to relax even though it's in the middle of a forest. We were there with a birding guide but unlike all the other places we stayed they did not comp his room or meals. We were not aware of this until we tracked down the owner to pay the bill.

Lugar lindo, acomodações limpas e confortáveis, proprietários simpáticos e muito atenciosos. Recomendo.

Lugar incrível. E o pessoal da pousa é extremamente cuidadoso com os detalhes. Uma experiência em estadia que valeu muito a pena.

Pousada bem simples mas confortável. Proprietários gentis e educados. Lugar tranquilo, sossegado.
