Hotel KVL

Extremely clean, great staff, great location, loved the river view. We ended up staying again later in our trip when we needed a hotel because we enjoyed our 1st experience.

A clean and new (as of January 2025) hotel situated by the riverside. Excellent skybar and delicious breakfast.

We had a suite, so the room was excellent. We had views of the river, which were nice and the facility was modern and clean. The only negative was no fitness center on site.

This is our go to hotel in Phnom Penh. The location is convenient and views at sunset from the roof top bar glorious. Staff are charming and the cafe a great place to check email whilst enjoying a light breakfast. So thank you and please don’t change!

Nice hotel. Very new. No pool, no gym. They will drive you to a super nice gym but it's 20 minutes away. Room safes not screwed down to anything. In Cambodia not a good thing. Bear in mind that if you book a basic room with a king bed, you will have a window that faces inside. A dark inside so it's basically no window. I had booked a city view, but their was some push back when we checked in. They did finally put us in a room with a window with a city view. Hotel is not inexpensive. Roof deck and restaurant is very nice with Spanish food and live bad. Highly recommend, but again not inexpensive. We spent $ 178.00 for 2. With wine and dinner during happy hour.

My wife and I stayed at Hotel KVL for 2 nights having chosen it due to its location - waterfront, and walking distance to the National Museum and Royal Palace which we wanted to see in our 1 day in Phnom Penh. I recommend getting the hotel to arrange airport transfers - takes the hassle out of getting to and from the airport. The rooftop bar overlooking Tonle Sap river is fabulous and the signature cocktails delicious. Plenty of different food options and friendly staff. Special shout out to General Manger Carl Sladen, who made the effort to introduce himself at lunch, and finding out we were Aussies and about to spend the next 9 nights in Siem Reap, surprised us at checkout with a gift - a jar of Vegemite! Many thanks Carl and team, we very much enjoyed our brief stay at Hotel KVL and highly recommend it to all visiting Phnom Penh.

The room deaign is minimalistic uet appealing. Perhaps 2 chairs coukd be added. The place is very clean, with great facilities ranging from reataurant, cafe, gym, and workspace above lobby. I foind the entire hotel concept attractive and convenoent..

The KVL Hotel offers outstanding amenities and service. It falls in the class of hotel of grand luxury and top service. The attention to details is exceptional. The rooftop bar is very enjoyable and the decor is superb. Everyone was attentive and friendly.

Very convenient for riverside walk and sighteeing to Royal Palace. They offer free tuktuk to nearby places Very stylish and clean and good location. I chose a cheaper room, unfortunately I didn’t have view from window as my room located inside the building. If it locates riverside, it must be nice view.

The staff were amazing in all areas of the hotel, it was clean tidy and perfect location for what i needed.

The room did not have tea or coffee. A kettle was provided for show only. I asked and they said it was not provided. They tried to add cups and milk. This is a basic item provided in most hotels
