Hotel was clean. Beds not comfortable, breakfast was decent. Hotel check in was fast and efficient. Very little staff interaction to speak of.

Fantastic surroundings, peaceful and quiet. A bit away from the middle of town, but an easy tuktuk ride. Friendly staff and a lovely pool. Great value for the price.

So I picked this hotel in Battambang based on the Expedia online review at 8.4/10. However, once we arrived w/our Cambodian driver & using Google Map, we still could NOT find the hotel (google map gave wrong directions & there was no signage at the dark entryway into the hotel. We finally had to call the hotel front desk & ask them to send a driver to lead us to the hotel & arrived 30 minutes later. Upon arrival, we realized our 3 reserved rooms were all upstairs, requiring you to walk 2 steep flight of stairs to get there. I would describe it as a boutique, rustic old charm hotel (2 floors w/10 rooms—5 rooms on each floor) surrounded by plants/nature (very tropical-feel). It also had a pool and an outdoor open restaurant on the1st level & you can see/view both standing outside of your rooms on the 2nd floor. When we booked online, there were no pics or mention of our 3 assigned rooms w/b on 2nd floor w/2 set of stairs to get to & no elevators. We had our 90 yrs old elderly mother w/us. As a result, part of our family had to split up & find another nearby hotel to stay w/our elderly mom. We already booked the rooms via Expedia, so we couldn’t get a refund. Lastly, the bed linens/towels were damped and smelly, we got bitten by mosquitoes throughout the nights & the lady owner was NOT friendly! We DONOT RECOMMEND this hotel!!

A very nice hotel close to Battambang downtown. Staff is very gentle and helpful. Food from restaurant is really nice, room is very confortable and swimming pool very nice. We will go back with great pleasure in this hotel during our next stay in Battambang.

Battambang selbst bietet so gut wie keine Sehenswürdigkeiten außer dem Zirkus. Die meisten Besucher sind dort wegen der Umgebung. Die Villa liegt leider sehr weit außerhalb an einem Schotterweg, die Umgebung ist nicht schön. Zu Fuß kann man nicht in die Stadt gehen, da es auch keinen Fußweg gibt. Das Hotel bestellt aber einen Tuk Tuk. Nachts von der Stadt zurück ist es schwieriger, da die Stadt ab 22 Uhr wie ausgestorben ist, und man keinen Tuk Tuk findet, dazu bräuchte man die Pass App. Bis 23.00 Uhr ist das Hotel geöffnet, wenn man später kommt, muss man klingeln. Das Hotel sieht auf den Bildern besser aus, als das es ist. Die Klimaanlage ist sehr alt, lässt sich nicht nachts runterregulieren. Zimmerservice war nicht so gut, Zimmer wurde spät nach Aufforderung gereinigt. Auch beim Frühstück (a la carte) war der Service nicht so gut. Personal aber sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Als Eco Ressort gibt es kein Wasser in Plastikflaschen sondern es steht offen im Zimmer in einer Kanne. Ich habe mich nicht getraut es zu trinken. Also man sollte sein Wasser mitbringen.

Staff was excellent

Magnifique accueil. Personnel adorable et serviable. Petit déjeuner savoureux à choix. Jolie piscine. Chambre spacieuse et décor raffiné. Petit bémol peu d eau chaude pour la douche mais endroit à recommander.

We hated this hotel. The room had not been cleaned before we checked in — soap bottles empty, dust on the floor, and even a condom wrapper in the bin. Against our better judgment, we used the hotel’s laundry service, as we really needed our clothes cleaned after a long month of travel. Our clothes were returned wet and left sitting outside our room on the ground. When we complained, the staff pretended not to understand. Terrible experience.

Very friendly staff and the owner very kindly. Quite place even though it in the middle of town nice swimming pool. Good place for relaxing after long day traveling and shopping

Le personnel de l'hôtel s'est plié en quatre pour rendre notre séjour unique. Très réactive et souriante, toute l'équipe a fait le maximum pour nous. Le staff a même eu une touchante attention pour l'anniversaire de mon épouse. Le patron, français, n'a pas été avare d'anecdotes et de conseils pour profiter de Battambang et du Cambodge. Nous nous sommes senti privilégiés. La chambre était impeccable, très spacieuse et lumineuse, un vrai palace. La piscine était la bienvenue après une journée de déambulations. Notre seul bémol, la douche qui était un peu capricieuse. Nous recommandons cet hôtel chaleureusement !

We enjoyed our stay at Moloppor Villa. The pool and bar area is lovely and green and staff are friendly. Our first room was a bit dated and had a funny smell but they moved us immediately when we asked to a newly done up and much nicer room. A short tuk tuk ride from town

Schönes Hotel, kleine Oase, in der Stadt. Zimmer neu oder neu renoviert, schöner Pool. Personal ist sehr nett und freundlich, jedoch wird nur schlecht Englisch gesprochen. Klare Empfehlung.

Perfect oasis in the middle of the city. Excellent food and service. All amenities provided, pool, bathtub, breakfast included, toiletries, robes, fridge, kettle, and did I mention the breakfast is perfect! The chef is one of the best I've experienced. All the little touches such as the effort put into the landscaping really distinguishes it from the rest.

New, nice pool and restrauant area, comfortable beds and big bath

Upon arrival, I thought that I would enjoy my stay here. The rooms are new and the pool is clean.
