Newly renovated great job very clean and cozy exterior pics of the property need to be updated does not look the same much better now.Barb front office was really nice and accommodating

Privately run i.e. not a franchise. Within walking distance of downtown. Screened from highway by trees. Surrounded by homes, not shopping malls and parking lots.

Great stay! Room was nice, price reasonable, and staff were friendly.

Budget friendly - but not one I’ll stay at again, multiple short hairs on shower/tub lip as well as toilet where lid connects to base. Coffee stain on white comforter. Parking lot and sidewalks not cleared of snow. Bed was comfortable at least, spacious room.

I was not sure of the area as it seemed very busy . Don’t let the location fool you … the property had a little niche that made it quiet and peaceful . A charming older building that had very nice upgrades beautiful flowers and nice sitting areas and all very well kept . I will be having this as my first choice when I’m Cranbrook again

We liked the balcony and the location.

Room and bathroom were nicely renovated and very clean although definitely on the small side. It was nice that there was 2 tub chairs in the room but they weren’t very comfortable. The fridge in the room was great, not your regular mini fridge, actually had a decent size freezer that would hold ice packs. AC worked great! Front desk lady could be more welcoming and friendly. Very limited office hours. No ice machine so have to ask at office for ice. No elevators so for seniors or people with mobility issues it is a bit tough. Well priced!

This place would have been 5 stars but the toilet had the tape across, and after we broke seal and opened we saw the toilet wasn’t clean. Someone had a blowout and it was everywhere. Not sure how the seal gets put on without it being clean. Fridge and freezer were also dirty. Other than that the room was great! We didn’t go to office about this because we had been traveling all day and it was late. I boiled water and used my Clorox wipes to clean myself. Would still stay again.

Nice hotel, clean, quiet, 15 minute walk to the center of town.
