The property, rooms & grounds were well maintained & staff was great. The dining room was pleasant but the breakfast was disappointing. We stayed two nights & the second morning we ate elsewhere

OK motel, with the downside that the WIFI was intermittent in the room, the TV did not work, and the shower water was luke warm. Informed the desk at check-out and they were indifferent.

Tv and coffee machine did nit work. Rooms were spa

The laundry facilities were very nice, plenty of machines.

Check in was easy and we were happy to get a room right away. The cleaning staff was very helpful and did a good job on daily cleaning. Location was good for a resting point to do day trips throughout the Cabot Trail. The room was ok, however the mattress was too hard for my preference, making it hard for me to have a restful sleep, it may work for other guests but not for me. Furniture and carpet have seen better days and amenities were not at par of description on the booking, such as internet very slow, cable not available in rooms ( they said the cable company was working on it and was down; however the lobby had cable but none in rooms) and there no microwaves in the rooms but in common areas. Also note the rooms are not in the main building but you have to go outside to get to the main building and get water, coffee or tea available 24/7 and free of charge. When we left we saw people doing maintenance so hopefully for the summer season it has better amenities and improvements.

It was ok but sink old and stained, no microwave in room, TV basically had only about 3 channels and Wifi was very poor - very intermittent.

Rooms seemed to be brand new. Clean and comfortable.

The property was beautiful with pretty gardens. The room was a good size, and I had a great view of the grounds and the lake. The staff in the restaurant were attentive and service was prompt. Would stay here again for sure!

Clean room, easy check in, staff provided restaurant and information about the town. However, we found stain on new towel, no shower gel nor conditioner at bathroom.

Towel was old and yellowish. Property shows its age. Most restaurants in the area were closed. Not much to see and do within the area.

When we arrived we discovered that the restaurant was closed and they were doing renovations to the property. The room was clean but older looking. For the cost during the off season it was just okay.
