Walkable to downtown Victoria.

Location amazing! A little worn around the edges and I wouldn’t like to drop anything on the carpet, but clean and comfy bed and good shower.

This was my third time staying here as it has become a desirable, not-so-distant escape for us living on the mainland. We were initially sold on the fireplace in the suites along with the antiquated-but for that time- posh European-style for each room. The price has always been remarkably reasonable considering you are ground zero for walking proximity to the harbour front and all of the shops and restaurants you could want. The place delivered once again. We will be coming back yet again.

We stayed here to just have a safe place to sleep so that we can adventure around town and enjoy the self-care touristy festivities, lights & beauty of DT Victoria. Price was very good too. Staff was friendly, our stay was very good, our room was clean, except we found a couple 2 short hair on our sheet (I'm super picky)... could be pet or person... otherwise our room was very clean. We will stay here again.

Okay for the price you pay.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay! Every staff member was lovely and welcoming, the room was clean and had all the amenities I needed (plus 2 shower heads, I've never seen that before anywhere)! I also really loved the lobby area where you can hang out and have tea from their complimentary tea station. Location was absolutely perfect, being right next door to Murchie's and Munro's Books felt like such a luxury. Overall my experience was honestly perfect, especially considering the very reasonable price point!

Very loud noisy bar across the street. Broken thermostat. Linited hot water. Broken elevator. Paid $10.00 for cancellation insurance and was denied by hotel a week in advance.

Courteous staff, wonderful location, comfy beds - excellent stay!!

The room was in very good condition. The staff was very courteous. The only issue was the elevator was out of service both days of stay, and there were alot of stairs to climb. Was not good for me with a bad back. Thanks

Great Location

In the room, the easy chair was too heavy to move about. The “coffee table” was not only heavy but too small a surface to accommodate both my laptop and mouse pad.

Unfortunately, our experience at this property was very disappointing. Due to maintenance issues, the hotel decided to change our room. We had called early in the morning to inform them that we would be checking in late, but this information was clearly not communicated properly. At check-in, the first room we were offered felt extremely small, enclosed, and almost claustrophobic. We expressed our concern, and the staff member on duty did offer us another room on the third floor. However, the elevator was not working. To his credit, he was kind enough to help us carry our luggage upstairs, which we appreciated. Another major inconvenience was the parking. The designated parking spot is about two blocks away, and at no point during the booking or communication was it mentioned that parking is chargeable. We ended up going with street parking instead. Once inside the room, we noticed several issues: there was no exhaust fan in the bathroom, and mold was developing around the bathroom tiles. The room also had an induction stove with an exhaust system, but the exhaust pipe connecting to the outside was missing. This made the exhaust system completely ineffective, as any smoke would remain inside the room. We chose this property mainly because of its central location and lower price, as we were only staying one night in Victoria. However, after this experience, I now understand why other hotels charge a premium. This was not a stay I would repeat, and it will definitely be my last

Front desk very professional and friendly, everything else was great. Climate control machine needs serious upgrade though.

Hotel staff were not attentive and when asked for basic amenities such as bottled water or toothpaste, I was told it would be 2 hours for room service to provide toothpaste and the hotel didn't provide bottled water and to retrieve it from a vending machine.

Room was clean and comfortable. Staff were very friendly and efficient!

We were upgraded and loved the room they gave us!! Jets in the tub! It was amazing!
