Charmant hôtel dans une ancienne demeure bourgeoise en parfait état. Très bien entretenue. Chambres impeccables propres literie parfaite. Accueil parfait très sympathique avec de bons conseils sur les environs. Restaurants proches accessibles à pied et très bons. Petit déjeuner continental copieux varié et très bon. Parking.

The front door was locked when we arrived at check in time but it was opened immediately by a woman who we believe is the owner. Check in was very quick. She escorted us through the main lobby and a common room which were beautifully decorated in the Victorian style and she pointed out the then-closed room where the included continental breakfast would be served in the morning. Breakfast opened up at 7:30. As we were booked for the lst ferry to P.E.I. the next day we said we likely would not be able to join them for breakfast. She assured us we'd have plenty of time to get the ferry but new to it, we decided to follow the ferry line's recommendation regarding arrival time. . She took us up the stairs to the 2nd floor (there are no elevators) and offered us a choice between 2 very nice rooms. It was storming outside when we arrived and it had worsened. We had had a late lunch so decided against going out into the storm for dinner. We did go downstairs mid evening to take a longer look around and while there were other cars in the parking lot, there was no one in the common rooms. There was no one at the front desk but there was a telephone there with instructions on how to reach the owner. Our room was nicely decorated in turquoise and white, with a flat screen TV and a comfortable Queen bed. The hotel was very clean.

The property was very well maintained, beds were very comfortable, complementary breakfast was great. The staff was very receptive and helpful, carried our bags in for us, beautiful view of the ocean from our room.

The room was clean and comfortable but you are not allowed to check in early.

The owner was very nice, the building is very historic

Staff was very gracious. Breakfast was really nice. (Get you going) Beautiful old Inn Washroom in room will need to be on their to do list. It was just ok. When you travel you take your chances.

Very clean tidy and organized. The management was gracious and very accommodating. Continental breakfast included protein and fresh fruit to our surprise. We highly recommend this Inn with all its character.

The breakfast was nice. Had a great stay. Bathrooms are dated and need an update.

The hotel itself and the room were very quaint. I am simply not used to staying at a hotel where doors are locked and when company arrives for a visit they get stopped and questioned. I am not saying this is a bad policy for the hotel to have. Again, I am merely not use to this. When I go away, I want it to feel seamless for myself and my guests who are visiting and not to feel somewhat like that of an interrogation. Had it not been for this, 5 stars would have been given.

Needs updating

Stayed 4 nights. Same continental breakfast every morning. Rooms are clean and grounds well kept. Lots of deer sightings. A little annoyed they wanted extra $ to extend our check out for 1 hour … especially after staying 4 nights. Too bad!

Beautiful, quaint inn, the breakfast nook overlooks the harbour.

Breakfast options were limited. Somewhat dated in decor and facilities. But great character, location and customer service.

Unique older inn run by caring people. Was a grand place in its day. Could be again with right operator, has a grand look.

Breakfast was great. Flooring in room was poor and we were told that the 2 person tub wasn’t to be used after 10:30 pm? Stayed here the night of our wedding , used the tub anyway. Bed was extremely hard.
