캐피탈 스위트 옐로우나이프

오로라 여행을 하기 위해 숙소 예약을 했습니다. 다운타운에 있긴 하지만 메인 상권이랑 10분 정도 떨어져 있어서 식사나 장보기에는 약간 어려움이 있습니다. 그리고 숙소 방음이 부실하여 주변 소음이 다들립니다. 그대신 숙소 상태는 깨끗하고 공항 셔틀버스가 있어서 그 부분은 좋습니다

숙박하기에 전혀 부족함 없음. 위치는 어차피 옐로우 나이프 자체가 작아서 별 의미가 없음. 이른 체크인 오케이 해주었고 객실상태 깨끗. 가격은 이 지역이 전부 비슷하여서 특별히 선호할 만한 내용은 없으나 그렇다고 특별히 기피해야될 곳은 아님. 특별한 단점도 장점도 없는 적당한 곳임.

스텝들 친절하고 교통좋아요 건물과 실내가 막 고급스럽진 않지만 깨끗해요 이름있지만 오래된 호텔보단 확실히 나을듯!

Room was clean, more than i expect. Staff was nice too. Overall we had a great time.

I checked in 4 hours early, the staff was very friendly and accommodating.

The walls are thin and I was woken up multiple nights by other guests yelling & arguing. Shower water not hot enough. When cleaners made the bed, on one of the days they only made the top layer and forgot the sheet underneath.

The room was ok, not that clean, there was puddle of some chemical on the carpet, we had to cover it with a bathroom plastic rug, to avoid stepping on it, staff needs to walk around the halls to keep others guess quiet, they were loud in their rooms and hallway. Staff were helpful and polite no complain with them.

The exterior of the building is dirty due to the unhealthiness of the people standing outside smoking and spitting on the steps. Salt and regular sweeping would greatly improve the curb side appeal.

Needs some renovation in some parts of the area in rooms.

It was strange checking in, they asked my wife for ID. I've never seen that before in any hotel anywhere. I brought it up with him, he said "oh we only had a reservation for 1 person". I showed him the hotels.com reservation for 2 people for 2 nights. He ignored it. I'll never stay there again

This hotel was in the slums of Yellowknife. There was drinking/drugs and police around the hotel constantly. Not suitable for families or business to accommodate in. Very noisy and rooms were dirty. Staff not experienced in dealing with customer issues. Certainly not worth what was charged.

The room we had was very small. It was just okay.

I booked a room for 1 night but I found out my other hotel let us stay one more night so capital suites was nonrefundable.

Overall I had a pleasant stay here at Capital Suites Yellowknife. Not sure why there are so many negative reviews. The only issue I found was they do indeed need to soundproof the walls as you can hear a lot of noise from other nextdoor rooms/put in the hallway. However when I stayed I never had an issue when sleeping at night. Yes, there are some interesting characters that hang around but I found them all over Yellowknife, not just at this hotel. I never felt unsafe. Staff were pleasant, facilities were okay. There are no dining options nearby but I was happy to take a short walk into town. If you expect a 4 star hotel this is not it, but if you are happy with a budget hotel you should give it a go. I would stay again. Thank you.
