Coles Bay Vacation Retreat

Fabulous bed and. Breakfast. Very gracious host and so helpful! The house has everything you’d ever need right down to baking supplies if you ou feel urge to make Some cookies!

What a gem we found in Coles Bay Vacation Rental! We arrived here after a late night flight into Victoria Airport. Karey met us at the door and invited us into this sweet space, welcoming us and explaining where things were in the room and how to operate appliances. Our bed was super comfortable and the hot breakfast with fresh croissants were sooo yummy! What a find!

Host is lovely, breakfast was delicious, area is quiet and beautiful, unit has absolutely everything you can possibly require. Optional interaction with resident poodles, who did not bark at all after I was settled in the unit. Beware that if you use the calendar event that Expedia automatically generates on iPhone, the address is NOT correct (takes you next door) and that the Apple map pin on the correct address is also not accurate.

The room has everything you need. The host made us a lovely breakfast to take on the plane as we were leaving at 3:30 am.

What a nice residential part of Vancouver Island that’s just a short drive from the Swartz Bay ferry terminal. I’m a female solo traveler and I felt very safe. I slept well and felt taken care of by Karey. Breakfast was fantastic! Loved the waffles and fresh fruits. Will definitely come back.

Our stay at Coles Bay Vacation Resort was so amazing that we spent our last night there too since our flight plans got delayed. We can't wait to go back, our "cottage" was like an apartment, it had everything you need to relax and cook a nice meal. The breakfast Karey served was fresh and delicious.

Proprietors are very personable and obviously want to make our stay the best.

The host was great and very accommodating. The room was well furnished and had a lot of amenities. I would highly recommend this retreat.

October 19-20, 2024 This was a lovely cottage stay. Karey gave a little tour of the 1 bedroom cottage complete with a full bathroom/ shower and luxurious towels, sunken living room, dining room and kitchen. She showed me how everything worked and where everything that I might need was located. There were two types of coffee and several selections of tea available. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils, pot, pans, plates etc. Karey brought me breakfast on a tray right to my door. Oven fresh croissants with scrumptious yogurt, and fresh fruit. Absolutely delicious. Her husband, Howie transported me to the airport, in the morning, which is only about six minutes away. The bed was super comfy and I slept well. Although I only spent one night at the cottage I was fortunate to get an upgrade as I Initially had just booked a room rather than the One bedroom cottage that I stayed in. I would love to return for a longer stay next time. Wonderful hosts and lovely stay. Thank you for the hospitality.

Very nice accommodation. Closr to the airport and the town of Sidney. Breakfast was fabulous. Rural setting and a car is necessary.

Owner extremely friendly, outstanding service, homemade breakfast croissants made our day! The poodles, Walley and Tigger are super adorable!

Unfortunately my husband and I were only able to stay here for one night. If we go back to this area, we will definitely stay here again. The kitchen was well appointed, the owners remarkably friendly. The bed was so comfortable, my husband wants to buy a mattress just like we had at Coles Bay. The owners even had apples from their trees waiting for us in our room!

It was above and beyond our expectations. Beautiful clean comfortable space. Terrific bathroom and strong shower. Fabulous and filling breakfast. And Karen was incredibly helpful and friendly. Highly recommend.

Nice in the Library room. Superb breakfast and very kind hosts. Only about 4 km from the airport and 5 minute walk to Coles Bay Regional Park (small, local park with 2 short trails to the water)
