Comfort Inn Cambridge

The staff that run this place are polite, clean and helpful. Can’t blame the staff for the fact that renovations are underway so unfortunately the smell of paint is everywhere. Within minutes of my arrival I was informed that the room I had booked King size bed was unavailable because of paint fumes, unfortunately for me any other size bed leaves me with my feet hanging off the bottom so although they referred to it as an upgrade to 2 queens, it doesn’t accommodate my height. When into the room , washed my hands and the sink is blocked and not a forget that new upgraded room is on the second floor, no elevators and me with about two hundred pounds of samples. Sink quickly looked after by staff. Into the early hours of the evening slamming doors in the hall near my room, found out later it’s a bus full of students. Next, snow removal operation I’m not sure exactly where but back up alarm every 20-30 seconds this somewhere between 01:00-02:30 AM ???? Then the tour bus, started around 5:00 Am, left to warm up for about an hour and follow by the sounds of the next room occupants playing music and a hair dryer, not entirely sure where the noise was coming from. I believe it was close to 7:00AM before I got into a deep sleep and up at 9:15 leaving a short window of 9:26-10:00 for breakfast. Second evening much quieter, asked the front desk if there was some kind of program guide for the TV, nope, have to scroll through some 30 or so channels. Not an affective approach.

average hotel, clean and quiet

Great stay, would definitely stay again.

The room was clean and bright. The bed was comfortable, and made beautifully. Breakfast was good with typical options, but well made and filling. First hotel I’ve had a decent cup of coffee in! Staff were friendly and attentive. The floors in the room were a bit of a problem because it was snowing and we kept having to wipe up the water. Otherwise, it was a truly excellent experience.

Had a lovely 1 night stay. The front desk staff was lovely when I checked in. Breakfast was standard but yummy. My room was very clean and updated.

I found the whole appearance and easy to get to location really nice! It is totally a safe area and the overall appearance and greeting was beyond my hopes!

Ice machine didn’t work, only had one. Hot Breakfast was cold, expired yogurt and jams.

The hotel is clean. The front desk people are friendly.

The only issue was the heater. It seemed like it was either on or it was off. Not much in between. I'm sure I simple thermostat replacement would fix it.

Very convenient

The Breakfast ended at 9:40, instead of 10:00 as advertised. This was very disappointing. There was very little water pressure in the shower, making it difficult to rinse off.

We were disappointed to find out that breakfast doesn't start until 7 am. The website said 5:30 am. We have to be at the airport at 6 am.

Staff were very friendly and accomodating.would stay there again. Free breakfast was very good, bacon, eggs, sausages, toast, bagels, yogurt. A great selection to choose from.
