Very happy with accommodations, large room with kitchenette

The place is pretty basic, but it was clean and the staff was pleasant.

It was a nice little town and Friendly's no that's enough

Comfortable, clean. Floors/furniture need updating/renovating.

This hotel is old and tired. I would not stay there again.

Pictures shown online are deceiving. Property is dated and could use some sprucing up.

Hotel is dated. Needs painting,etc. Very clean in the meantime. Would not hesitate to stay again.

I thought you might have had seats on the balcony. Everything else was great. We felt like we had our own apartment.

Building was old and worn out; not well maintained. Water supply ran ice cold and hot in the shower. Sink and toilet in separate rooms. Light from room next door shining through under the wall. Very noisy.

Die Zimmer waren geräumig, mit standardmäßigen Gebrauchsgegenständen. Flachbild Fernseher, Föhn etc. Frühstück war gabe es leider nicht allerdings mehrere Möglichkeiten in Lauf/Fahrnähe Im Haus befindet sich ein Fish und Chips Restaurant. Abendessen war hervorragend aber mit sehr freundlichem Personal. Ich würde jederzeit wieder dort übernachten.

It's what you'd expect when staying at a 2 star hotel.

Staff was less than friendly at check-in. Felt like we were inconveniencing her. In room air conditioner was old and controls were missing. Room was clean and comfortable. Parking is limited, as the lot is shared with the hotel next door. Overall, hotel is a bit long in the tooth, but the room is clean and comfortable.

This hotel is in need of a serious upgrade/makeover. Rooms are dated, A/C did not work well and everything was at best average! There are not many options in Stephenville and we chose this location as a stop over before catching the morning Ferry back to North Sydney. We wish we had stayed the course and drove the distance to Port Au Basque. Hotel was also well off the beaten path and no where near the highway. We were swayed by some of the other reviews but they definitely overrated this hotel. Also, there is no restaurant on sight, it is closed and we told under renovations but we did not see any evidence of work in process?

Good location; spacious room; front desk staff very friendly

We didn't even stay. It was a dive and was NOT what the photos show online. The place is a rathole. We ended up staying e.sewhere.

We are taking a scenic driving tour of Newfoundland. Good stop for the night
