Fairmont Le Chateau Montebello

좋다고해서 예약했는데 버스가 2일마다 다니는곳이라 예약한날에 버스가 없어서 못가고 숙박 날림~ㅠㅠ 캐나다처럼 택시비 비싼곳에서 몬트리올에서 130키로를 택시타고 오라니, 숙박비보다 왕복 택시비가 더많이 나올텐데~ 가보지도 못하고 숙박날림~ㅠㅠ 대중교통타고 다니려고 국제운전면허증도 안가지고 왔는데~ㅠㅠ

The property and experience are amazing. No other place like it. We have stayed there several times. The only downfall is that the rooms have not all been renovated. We were given a room on the 4th floor this time, and the bathroom was a challenge. Toilet oversprays when it flushes, sink has a slow drain, and the shower was difficult to control from too hot to too cold. Bathroom has a pedestal sink, very tiny and no where to put anything. Room was very hot and stuffy even tho we turned the heat off when we arrived, and it was -15 outside. Bed mattress needs replacing, bed was very creaky and hard to sleep when one of us even turned over! Property is managed incredibly well tho, and every staff member went beyond being pleasant. Did we just receive this room bc we booked thru Expedia?

The center has a full range of sports equipment, free of charge and easily accessible.

Montebello is a charming property - when you are there you know you're somewhere special and with history. However, I'm not sure it's quite living up to the Fairmont name and $$. Service was terrific (especially the gentleman who checked us in!) and our dinner in the main restaurant was outstanding. However, some parts of the property are in dire need of an update, most notably the fitness center and spa change rooms.

We booked on our return home for a night. Ended up waiting for an hour for the room and the place was packed with nowhere to sit and really not a clean place. I can see where the attraction would be for families.

The continental buffet at $86 for two was disappointing and very ordinary. Room comfort: For the price, the room lacked charm and maintenance. The window insulation was poor, resulting in significant heat loss. We had booked a "deluxe" room, but it did not match the description or our expectations at all. Poor dinner service: The attitude of our server during dinner was dreadful—unpleasant demeanor, curt tone, and no effort to make the experience enjoyable. We felt neglected compared to other tables with larger groups. Billing errors: We were charged for meals and drinks we never ordered, which further worse

Just amazing

Le personnel est très gentil. Le décor central est magnifique. les restos sont de belle qualité. Mais nous avons été très déçus pour la chambre ; pas de robe de chmbre pour aller à la piscine, prendre une douche avec l'eau jusqu'aux chevilles parce que le drain est défectueux, pas d'eau froide à l'évier de la sdb. J'ai vu des centaines de chambres de bien meilleure qualité pour bcp moins que $470/nuit.
