Staff are very friendly and the room is very clean. The bed is also comfortable. It isn’t very sound proof however. We could hear the person next door coughing and walking around.

Overall service was just ok. Check in staff were not welcoming. Bar staff were amazing. The bar food was microwaved or tasted like it was. But at least the service was top notch. Check out staff were incredible. Very polite. I brought up an issue with someone shovelling snow at 3am and snow blowing at 4:30am and they were genuinely concerned. Would come back it’s a very clean hotel.

Just bad luck - but my room was located on the main floor directly opposite the ice machine. The kitchen staff were diligently working at 5:30 am getting things ready and they collected an unimaginable amount of ice this morning. Needless to say - make sure your room is away from the lobby bar and ice maker.

Only okay and don’t really care about your experience. You can get the same for quite a bit cheaper in Barrie. The main reason for this is that I called ahead and asked (since I could see many open rooms available) if we got in town around 1 pm is our room available by any chance so we can rest. No time to even look at computer she said no kill some time as rooms only available at 3. I said oh, not even if a room is open can we come early - she said no. We came early anyway just in case and a room was ready and we checked in right away and got in. So that means it was purely didn’t want to check or help or care that we were tired just a sorry no and hang up when we could have had the room and in fact did. Someone who calls to be prepared is treated worse than just walking in. That’s sad.

Room was spotless and staff was helpful and caring.

Clean room and nice staff. Convenient location.

The room was good and the reception area was clean, however our shower didn’t have any hot water. The staff at the front desk stated they would have someone look at it but it couldn’t be fixed. We ended up having to have cold showers which is not acceptable. We were offered a $50 reduction in room price but we asked for more. We were eventually given a $75 reduction. We feel we could’ve been moved to a different room or at least had the room reduced by a higher price, as $75 was less than 1/3 of the total price we paid for the room.

Deadbolt wont work on the door, bathroom door keeps locking us out, toilet won’t stop running. Called the front desk for assistance, no answer. Will never stay here again, it’s a dump.

Old carpet, outdated, musty. Don’t be fooled by the pictures!!!! Under renovations. These guys are false advertising!

The breakfast selections were lacking. Otherwise great stay
