We stayed in the motel behind the main hotel. Excellent for anyone needing a long stay accommodation! It’s been updated and modernized. Clean and comfortable. As non smokers we weren’t a big fan of stepping outside to our neighbours smoking. Would be nice if there was a designated sitting area for the smokers to enjoy, not only immediately as you step outside.

Booked with Expedia. Ended up in a annex building with low income renters living there. Totally wasted my money. Very disappointed with my booking and my stay. Be aware of what your booking before you stay. Waste of money

Bel hôtel, très belle chambre, petite cuisine ette toute équipée, salle de bain très propre. Petit déjeuner oeufs, saucisses, patates, pain doré, belle salle de petit déjeuner. Franchement, vraiment très bien.

Room was nothing like the photos More like a motel than a hotel with exterior door opening to parking lot. Large square room, no comfortable chairs, only one hard plastic desk chair. Table was very small with 2 wooden benches, Room was mostly clean but black mould in corners of shower. Disappointing

Good place for the money

We enjoyed our stay. The only thing I would change is the shower. There were no place to place shampoo, conditioner, soap or wash cloth.

We only stayed 1 night while passing through Truro but I would have happily stayed more if we had the time. The rooms were very clean, there was a slight ant problem we seen in the kitchenette and bathroom. Beds were very comfortable, there was a washer/dryer combo in the room that was an unexpected change. Staff although extremely busy were very nice and attentive to your needs. Breakfast was good, for a buffet it had just the minimum but was tasty and filling. We ate dinner in the restaurant and it was good. We never tried the pool or hot tub. The deer walking by in the parking lot at 5:30am when I was out having my coffee was a nice surprise, I’m not sure who was more surprised, me or the deer. I would recommend to anyone. It is very busy, they were booked solid, I had booked 2 months in advance

Staff were FANTASTIC. Room was clean. Breakfast was good. It was fine for a night—don’t know if I’d want an extended stay.

Grande chambre avec cuisinette bien équipée.Par contre pas de table ni de chaises pour manger.La douche aurait besoin d’un bon nettoyage en profondeur. Déjeuner complet servi au restaurant de l’hôtel.

We stayed here for three nights while travelling to Nova Scotia for a wedding. The location was very convenient and made for an easy stop during our trip. The lobby was also quite nice and gave a good first impression when we arrived. We stayed in the motel/extended-stay section of the property. The room itself was decent enough and generally comfortable, but the bathroom was in poor condition. There was black residue all over the shower that appeared to be mould, or at the very least had not been properly cleaned. The bathroom exhaust vent was also hanging from the ceiling, which raised concerns about the overall maintenance and upkeep of the room. The complimentary breakfast was good and offered a nice variety of options. However, the staff need to do a better job of restocking items for guests who arrive within the last hour of service. Several items were running low or unavailable, which was disappointing given that breakfast was still being served. Another improvement would be to provide chairs outside the motel rooms. It would be a nice touch for guests staying multiple days and would give people a comfortable place to sit outside and relax during their stay. Overall, the convenient location, pleasant lobby, and good breakfast were definite positives. Unfortunately, the condition of the bathroom, maintenance issues, and lack of seating outside the rooms detracted from the experience.

Excellent breakfast. The property consists of a hotel/ conference building ( Best Western) and several adjacent older motel unit buildings. The motel rooms have been upgraded and renewed but still are a little "dated ". Overall they are quite adequate and satisfactory but may be a little disappointing if you were expecting a room in the main hotel building. Staff were helpful and professional. Not a bad deal for the amount paid.

The breakfast was really good. The rooms were clean except when I dropped a chip on the floor and went to pick it up and it was crawling with ants

your staff ,Cyber, is friendly and knowledgeable. One thing is Cyber mentioned the $250 deposit wont be returned if guest does not claim it back themselves when check out at front desk as the deposit won’t automatically credit back to credit card after check out like other hotels. this is a weird policy and unreasonable as Best Western is a brandname facility in hospitality/tourism. CAD250 is not a small amount. If travellers left the property in a rush for their trip without “claiming” the funds, meaning they are paying $250 extra for their stay. where will the fund ended up eventually?
