위치도 좋고 방도 좋지만 조식이 너무 빈약합니다. 야채와 과일은 먹지 못하실가에요..소세지도짜고 베이컨도 짜고 빵은 탔습니다..

Room 2- a small drab colourless room. Small pedestal table/chair - fine. 2 night tables - old and sad looking. On the bed an unenclosed slab of soft - about 4” - foam. Within an hour my hip was in burning pain. I rolled it off the bed which then impeded my access to the window. The mattress was soft/old but at least it didn’t cause any pain. The pillows OK but no pillow protectors - unsanitary. The bedding lovely, soft and smelled nice. I did sleep well. The room felt clean except for the bottom of the shower stall which needed a good scrubbing. I used shower shoes. The soap provided was too strong smelling. The small shampoo tubes were nice. The towels were small and thin but clean and nice smelling. I didn’t enjoy the confusing Roku streaming TV service. News was days old. This is not a B&B. There is a dining area with a table - a fridge - a coffee bar. Coffee, tea, sugar are available - no milk - no cereal as in some pictures. Kettle - coffee maker and toaster available. Crumbs on the toaster when I arrived were still there 7 days later. No sink. Water dispensed from a water bottle. Use a cup to obtain the water and pour it into the kettle or coffeemaker. NO housekeeping. No caretaker seen in 7 days. Self check in & out. Good location for town - strong walking legs needed for walking up and down hills. Easier to use 2nd floor door to go in and out. Hill to parking area easier than 3 doors and stairs. Restaurants expensive. Hop on/off bus from Alt hotel best value.

I liked that the room was right downtown. It would have been great to have had a bit larger room, but the hostoric nature of the building made up for it, however. It seems the building is due for a rennovation to make it a bit more contemporary. As it stands, it is very “from the 90s.” Prompt service response to my emails.

Walking distance to Water St./downtown.

Great location. Quiet. Helpful manager. Comfortable bed. Minor negative was no sink in the kitchen so had to wash the coffee pot out in my room! Appreciated the window AC.

Close to downtown. Only problem is the steep hills. It would be the same anywhere though.

Parking was a bit of a hassle. I had indicated the need for a parking permit in my pre check in messages but didnt get one until I called the caretaker to request the next day. The room was clean enough but bathroom door in need of repair. Location was excellent...walkable to downtown

We had a 4th floor room which was small but cozy with good breezes from windows on 3 sides. Small narrow staircase may be hard for some people or those with heavy luggage. Coffee or hot water are self serve on the first floor. Small fridge in the room.

Bath room is too small

This is an old building with beautiful wood floors. There is a communal fridge and dining table. It is walking distance to restaurants and pubs - right in the heart of the jelly bean houses!

Comfy, warmth and accessible and the view is amazing. Well recommended and love to go back once I have chance again.

A great location but since we had no car there was a lot of uphill walking. It was clean and comfy but very small room and tiny bathroom. We had to do three flights of stairs, no elevator. The kitchen area was nicely stocked but lacked a sink. Very nice sitting area. Ok for only 2 days.

Regular room , clean sheets but dirty carpets and dust under the bed. The room was hot even with the window air conditionning. The location is very central. We really enjoyed being walking distance to restaurants and shops.

Small, quaint, quiet, great location!

We had the room on the top floor. It was a nice sized room, with a very comfortable queen size bed. It had a window air conditioner which cooled the room to an adequate temperature but still a little warm. The bathroom is tiny with the shower on the opposite side of the room, which worked well. There was a large kitchen area on the main floor and the addition of a water cooler was great. Overall, it was clean snd comfortable and worked well for what we needed.
