Harrison Lake Hotel

시설에 대한 투자가 전혀안됐고,관리및청결 상태가 엉망임,여행객을 맞이할 준비가 전혀 안되어있음

The stay was bad. Rooms were stinking!

As always, a pleasant stay. During my stay the lady staff (Daphne) went out of her way to make sure I had everything I needed to make my stay comfortable.

Paying the parking fee and the front door being broken

The front doors were stuck open watching raccons walk past wondering what other small pest good easly get in. Our bathroom door didnt function becuase the floor was so vadly warped in our room. There was a small plug in heater for heat We were told we got a lake view couldnt see the lake from our room st all. Oh no plug for the bath tub so unable to use the jet tub we paid extra for.

Front door we’re broken

The room was big & clean but very bare. No ceiling light 1 small table side lamp &1 corner floor lamp fridge froze drinks small coffee maker on top of microwave which was on top of fridge, plug could not reach socket had to put coffee maker on the floor completely bare walls Bonus was friendly staff, comfy bed but wrinkled linen.

A very nice cost effective stay within Harrison. We usually stay here whenever we come to Harrison due to walking areas to restaurants, pubs and shops. The staff was verry polite and helpful and bed was quite comfortable. Downside was the state of the bath tub, shower in our room with staining plus inconsistent water pressure (low then high then low). Hoping the maintenance team can tackle this soon. We will be returning soon. Thank you.

Hasn't seen a decorator/repair since 80's. Cheap tho and mattress was decent. Otherwise clean. If all you need is a bed, okay value.

It was close to the lake but the cost was ridiculously high ,had to pay to park in the underground which was dirty and creepy.there was a woman with her dog ,she seemed high on drugs and she searched her vehicle for hours using her flashlight. It did not feel like a aafe place to park and they charged us extra .the bathtub in the room was horrible, it had rust stains that looked like someone 💩 in it . The building seems to be over 100 years old and outside of our window were several cigarette butts ,the room had a slight odor of smoke ,even though its a non smoking building. The only way i would go back is if the price was cut in half lol

Heater was not working. Our room was freezing. Complain to front desk no one came. Came from dinner we complain again. Transfer to another room. Same issue heater not functioning.. staff gave us smalll portable heater. Our bed facing winding has big light which bothered us to sleep. Water jet in tub not working. So bad totally not happy

We stayed in a room for 2 nights . Asked to have towels and left for a walk when we came back ..no towels . Called front desk no answer, then we went to front desk and the person at reception said that they forgot. Microwave or heater didn't work, I would check the room when you checkin to make sure things work and advice them right away. This place was good at one point but new team members i see its gone down with quality. When i told the receptionist all he could say was ..sorry about that. Next time im going try some different place .

Honestly, the place is worn out & falling apart .. I was shocked to witness the steady flow of customers going up & down to front desk to complain and ask for a new room for one reason or another. Our 1st room was filthy and broken. Desk service was kind though.

The hotel was very dirty. Walls had drip stains on them and the tub was not clean. We booked a Queen size bed and were met with a Full size, and the front claimed it was a Queen size, when it was obviously not. The front entrance doors were also broken and you had to inconveniently slide the automatic doors to open and close. We could also hear the room beside us speaking as if they were in our room, even though they were talking at a normal level.

Cons - Bed bugs in the first room I stayed in that night. Remote for TV did not work. Jets in the bathtub did not work in the first room. Moved to a second room. That they said had been recently renovated. But power outlets were not working and power went out in the room when using microwave while having a space heater in the room. Clearly an electrical hazard. And electrical needs to be upgraded. Jacuzzi tub also in that room second room did not work. Also did not get offered a discount since I had to move to a second room during the night overall was an inconvenience and not a pleasant stay. Now waiting for word back from the manager…

*steps away to the lake and to the restaurants *staff are nice *beddings, towels and linens are really white and clean *complete hotel need TLC- bit outdated, carpets in the hallway and furnitures inside the room are old and needs to replace that something looks nicer or newer

Stay somewhere else! It was quiet, but rooms and entire building needs updating. Room had mismatched paint, and unfinished patchwork,(like someone walked away mid repair job), blue duct tape on the carpet, dirty window sills, old dirty fabric chairs, hallway was very dirty, and had marks on the walls and floor, lightbulb in bathroom flickered on and off, TV did not work, even after talking to front desk staff. Lobby smelled like cigarette smoke, even though it was a non-smoking building. Automatic doors to lobby not functioning, and had to manually push them open. Only one of 2 elevators working. May have been a nice hotel 20 years ago, but it is completely run-down and neglected now.

It's inexpensive for a reason. The broken front door is a prelude to the rest of the property. Clean except for the bathroom - someone needs to be trained on how to wash the shower. Hairs everywhere is pretty gross. TV didn't work and bathroom fan sounded like a helicopter. Other guests had the same problems. However, for less than 100 bucks a nite - I would definitely stay here again. Don't expect a 5 star property. For a 2 star hotel it's acceptable.
