No WiFi, false fire alarm at 11pm. Everybody had to evacuate. Phones not working. Shower showed sign of mold. Reception staff however friendly and felt bad for all the issues. Easy parking. Shuttle to airport a big benefit. Food was great at hotel restaurant.

The hotel is not as close to the airport as i though based on the description given. Breakfast was not included, areas of the facility was not clean, not toiletries (small tooth paste, that would have been nice. I did not feel heard by the check in clerk as I tried to asked questions.

This is such an underrated stay in Calgary. I spent over two weeks here during a renovation. The pool and fitness room are still not open due to upgrades, but the rooms are clean, the breakfast is great and the staff are very friendly. There’s also a free shuttle too and from the airport.

The air conditioning is as stuck on all night when it was -21 outside.

First and foremost this is NOT an airport hotel, it is nearly a 25 minute ride from the airport to near the TransCanada highway and a $68 taxi ride. Secondly, the fire alarm went off at 1030pm because of an ineffective repair to the heating system - this had not been the first time such an alarm had happened! I was due for a 3am wakeup call so not happy to be roused from a sound sleep to gather in the lobby and wait for firemen to reassure the management of no fire but the need to call for repair immediately while they stay and ensure the alarm does not sound again. The only saving grace was having a free shuttle service at 3am to take me to the airport. Unbeknownst to me, I could have called for a shuttle to pick me up at the airport but it was not evident on the web page I looked at before booking. There are two other Holiday Inns much closer to the airport location. Use them.

I booked this hotel because it was rated about 9/10. Staff was very friendly and respecful. However it was noisy. We can hear people talking next door or on the hallway at night. There is a problem with sound proving. To top it up, the water dripping noise from inside was on and off all night... It is not a big flush, but continuously dripping inside the drain pipes inside the walls. The last one is probably not the hotel's fault, but at 11 PM, the fire alarm went off, fire deparement came, but didn't seem there was any fire found.

Fantastic stay when I had to stay an additional day they were able to find me a cancellation and allow me to stay another night. They even gave me an excellent rate to help. Breakfast was terrific and so was the lunch that I had because I was here the extra day.

Was a good stay- however the fire alarm went off, so a bit disrupted.

This is not near the airport. False advertising

Front Dest staff was fantastic and the love the free Airport Shuttle Bus Service. Not sure about surroundings since only slept and gone...

The breakfast staff was excellent - the evening staff not so. We ordered an appetizer and our meal - and they delivered it all at once. The club sandwich I ordered was terrible - the bread not toasted so it was soggy and the chicken was in chunks that fell out when I took the first bite. The sandwich also was not in quarters - but halves only. The evening staff were not attentive, appeared to not care very much. Front desk staff were excellent

Really nice rooms, friendly staff. A great place to crash after a long flight! Enjoyed a lot

Bed was incredible. May have been the most comfy bed I have seen in a hotel. Pillows too. The only reason I gave a 3 on the rating is because they are re drywalling the hallways. Everything else was good. However the breakfast you can ad on for $20 is NOT worth it.

Had to unplug the mini fridge In the room because it was worn out and made so much noise. Along the shower it was easy to see excess dirt build up and walking to bed after showering our feet were filthy from the floors. Was having problems with my credit card which wasn’t necessarily the hotel’s fault, but talking over the phone to any staff there was pretty painful as it seemed none of them really knew how to handle situations on their own. For situations that seemed like a quick fix turned into being on hold for 20 minutes.

Everything works out so well.

I still have a pending charge on my credit card, which has left a sour taste in my mouth. The room fee was correctly charged, but the card fee hold for extra expenses( there were none) is still showing as pending and needs being attended to by being removed Only 1 lift working and no advice pool was closed since November Will stay in a hotel closer to airport next time.

Advertised as near the airport. Definitely was not. 15-20 min drive. Airport shuttle took forever and was fully booked for the time i needed. It being on a rotation of every hour was not helpful.
