Nous avons vraiment apprécié le balcon de la chambre 204: ce fut agréable de prendre notre café au soleil le matin. Suggestion: placer un miroir dans chaque pièce serait un atout; ajouter un miroir sur un des murs de 14$ où l'on pourrait se voir de la tête aux pieds! Merci! Nous avons vraiment apprécié notre séjour à l'Hôtel Le Roberval: il est très bien situé pour les spectacles au théâtre St-Denis ou autres spectacle ainsi que pour de belle marches jusqu'au Complexe Desjardins ...

A good old fashioned hotel that was clean and comfortable. A large room with really comfy beds and pillows. Fantastic breakfast every morning and in a great location for all the areas we wanted. Walked everywhere.

Great location in the area. It’s walking distance to the Metro and for the 747 in the front. Staff were very helpful, friendly and accommodating when we asked for a late check out. Luggage storage and continental breakfast were an added bonus. The room was spacious enough for 2 people. Had all the amenities for a short stay and was very clean. We tried the AC but believe it was set at a certain temperature. The internet and tv was spotty at times but were able to still use it.

Breakfast was amazing, lots of options considering it’s a continental style (note there were two breakfast rooms, one was nicer/tidier than the other!). The suite we had was two bedroom, and was perfect for the four of us. Location is close to downtown and the metro. Bathroom was on the small size, but still doable. Loved the balcony as we had room 203. Will stay again!

We had a wonderful stay. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the location was fantastic. The parking was a short street away from the hotel, but there were no elevators. We had read the reviews beforehand, so we were prepared for this and it didn’t bother us at all. Honestly, having parking available, especially at a reasonable price, is always a plus. One thing to keep in mind is that the hotel is an older building, so you can expect some noise to travel through it, as with any older structure. You’ll also find older fixtures and an unusual layout. Our room, in particular, had a few non-functional outlets. However, as long as you’re aware of these things before your stay, you should have a great experience.

I was travelling with my elderly mom. The toilets were super-low, almost kid-size. Although the hotel had an entrance ramp and elevators, they had no accessible rooms. If you have difficulty getting off a low toilet, check to see if they have an accommodation for the low toilet before booking here. Beside the toilet, the hotel was excellent, the staff did their best, and the breakfast was excellent!

My stay was not good. First time staying here. The first night I got almost no rest. I was already tired and the freezer started making a howling sound at 4am. Eventually it happened again a couple hours later...and AGAIN. I went to the front desk a couple hours later. Asked for a different room. Never got one (I wanted one more for piece of mind since I had almost no rest for 30 hours or so) and even though the problem was fixed...on check out a few days later I asked for a refund for my first night and was told nobody could help me at the front desk. The two people at the front desk were ZERO help and the guy who worked 3rd shift (short white guy with a goatee) is the rudest person I've ever met in mtl. He criticized me for not dealing with my situation in other ways. I'll never come back

For a low cost stay in Montréal, our stay was perfect. The hotel is located walking distance from Old Montréal, the underground city as well as the pier. The room was clean with no signs of bedbugs or other critters. We stayed in room 401 which was on the 4th floor on the street side which was away from the street sounds, but also had a small balcony overlooking the street below. Our room had two closets, a sink, stove and a small refrigerator. Breakfast took some finding, but you are rewarded with excellent croissants, as well as the standard hotel breakfast fare. Parking in their garage one street over was extra at $40C a night, but worth having a protected parking spot in a busy city with 24 hour access. We would definitely use this hotel on future trips.
