We enjoyed our stay in this quaint Inn and tiny town of Mary Hill. The Inn is extremely old with allot of characture. The host's apologized for the Inn's untidiness, as they were in the process of getting ready to close for a couple of weeks to renovate. Unfortunately as a guest we felt like we were just expected to put up with what was to come. We were not previously informed about this. The grounds around the Inn were rather unsightly, with un-roadworthy cars and tatter laying about. Owners were friendly and kind. We took our puppy and they made him feel very welcome playing with their dog Chester. The carpeting in the dining room was stained and dirty. I know the hosts welcome pets, but that doesn't mean the environment should be dirty. Breakfast was delicious even though you didn't have a choice and just had to eat what they were serving that day. The room was small and quaint. Rug was filthy. Arm chair was torn hidden by a throw blanket. Shower drain was loose and dangerous. Claw foot tub looked inviting but the bottom of the tub had allot of paint peeling off and it was sharp. To be honest I'm not sure I will return but wish them well with their bed and breakfast.

I had a lovely stay! The blue room was beautiful and had an amazing bathtub. The innkeepers are so kind and passionate about what they do and breakfast was delicious. I would happily return.

Our stay at the Maryhill Inn was an absolute delight. A charming property with the loveliest innkeepers (in particular Chester, who seemed to be running the show and making sure everyone was happy) and a few very delicious breakfasts.

Hosts were inviting and very friendly. Breakfast was yummy with coffee and tea. Room was very clean and quiet. TV includes many services like Disney, Netflix . Water and popcorn were in the room and extras in the common area. Hosts were very helpful with restaurant suggestions and options of things to do.

The suites are newly renovated and quiet. Breakfasts are great and the staff is friendly. It is a short driving distance from Elora and Waterloo.

The hosts were wonderful and the Inn itself is lovely. It's just a short distance from Elmora, Guelph, or Waterloo so it's an ideal location.

Wonderful historic building in a great central location. Convenient but quiet. Hosts were fantastic and looked after us well, despite having emergency renovations underway. Breakfast was homemade and excellent!...I would definitely stay again!

A charming historical property in a rural location with easy access to nearby towns and outdoor activities. Very friendly and helpful hosts served an excellent breakfast each day.

Had excellent stay at the Maryhill Inn for three nights. The rooms were clean and beautiful decorated. The owners were welcoming and accommodated my gestational diabetes with the morning breakfasts. Overall great stay!

The place has junked cars in the parking lot, cots stored in the hallways, and the carpets are musty. Sadly very run down. We cancelled our reservation. The owners agreed to a 50% cancellation fee but have since gone silent. Don’t how they get positive reviews of this property. Stay away from

Property is being renovated mainly on the exterior. The owners went way out of the way to make us comfortable and serve absolutely wonderful breakfasts.

Charming & clean room. Bright & cheery. Kimmie was a great host! She even loaned us blankets to sit outside by the outdoor fireplace at night. James & Kimmie provided a delicious breakfast that was fresh & tasty in the morning. Recommend to anyone!

Wonderful place to visit!

The perfect small town home away from home, and so many wonderful places to check out nearby. The place was thoughtfully decorated, the bed was comfortable, the two nights sleep were incredibly peaceful. Both breakfasts, eggs Benny sandwich on croissant and French toast, were homemade and super fresh. They tasted gourmet and so perfectly seasoned. Kimmie and James were perfect hosts. We almost didn't want to check out our final morning. Can't wait for our next stay.
