This is a lovely resort in a very sweet spot on the island. We loved the little cabin that we rented and only wish we could have stayed longer.

We stayed here two nights at the end of June. The hotel is quiet but comfortable, and management is friendly and helpful. Maria, our server at the restaurant, was lovely and attentive. Too had we didnt bump into the ghost! We recommend this hotel for a short romantic visit to Mayne.

No parking close to unit. The restaurant served mediocre Bar Food at fine dining prices and had no atmosphere at all. This resort has seen better days. I thought about kayaking, but the equipment is old and grungy and the launching beach is covered in green, smelly slime. I stopped in to the office a couple of times and there is no one on duty (bell is useless) and no way to contact anyone directly. I left a message which was never answered. All in all I could have booked a week in Whistler for what I paid at this resort for a weekend, had more activities closeby, better food and better facilities. Lesson-learned!

Both restaurants were closed 2 days a week, no microwave, no utensils at bbq, fridge in room did not get very cold

The British Columbia southern gulf islands are special by any global standard, and each of the islands has a unique character based on its geography and community. Our stay at the Mayne Island Resort allowed us to experience the best of Mayne Island. The accommodations were perfect for a great night's rest and preparing a nice meal (or taking advantage of the on-site dining room) after a day of sea kayaking in Bennett Bay, Campbell Bay to the north or waters to the south, toward Saturna Island. We enjoyed the hot tub and pool (spa area) and appreciated the easy kayak launch site on Bennett Bay and easy walking distance to the Gulf Islands National Park area along the northern shore of Bennett Bay and southern shore of Campbell Bay. We particularly enjoyed sitting on our patio in the morning savouring a cup of coffee and watching / listening to the birds. We're not birders per se, but within a half hour or so each of three mornings were able to identify (through their songs using the Merlin app) 23 to 25 different bird species including three species of swallows (Purple Martins, barn swallows, violet-green swallows), and frequently saw raptors such as bald eagles, osprey and a red-tailed hawk, along with a blue heron. ...and we sauntered down the road for a really great craft beer at Mayne Island Brewing on two afternoons. This is a not-to-be missed part of the Mayne Island visit. Overall, Mayne Island resort was a great place to unwind and find new experiences.

Room had a breathtaking view of the bay. Very peaceful and private. Easy access to the beach and nearby walking trail. Numerous Eagle, Raven, Osprey sightings as well as seals, otter, mink and deer. Our first trip to Mayne Island and we are definitely returning.

Property was very accommodating to our pet, and the swimming pool, and steam room, and hot tub verse to die for great! I only wished I tried them two days earlier in my stay, so I would have had an extra two days R&R there in the water. I’ve had an annoying neck pain in my neck for the last year, that has been bothering me. The Jet pool worked wonders on that pain, to the extent, that it is very minimal now, almost completely gone!

Some of the lights in the living room are not working. Also the shower component of the bathtub is broken n not working at all at beachhouse #110.

Property staff and room were well kept and the view from the balcony was great. I would say the only issue was the blinds not working properly.

Terrible. Would not recommend. Booked a deluxe 2 bedroom they gave us a 1 bedroom told me that is what I booked I have the reservation details in front of me and it clearly says 2 bedroom deluxe villa. The manager talked over me and was not very nice. I would not stay at this hotel

Beautiful view. Peaceful and quiet. Room was clean and had everything we needed for our stay.

The property was lovely, but the staff were unreachable and did not respond to messages.

Views were beautiful from every cottage and lodge room. Hot jets were great pool was small but refreshing and pool area was clean

It’s always a pleasure to stay at Mayne Island Resort the view the people and the facilities are amazing. Very family oriented.
