출장때문에 이용했습니다 전철역 바로 옆이라 교통이 편하고 깨끗하고 넓은 객실이 좋았습니다 밴쿠버 출장으로 가성비있는 호텔 찾는분께 추천합니다

There are plenty of hotel properties that are historic but well kept and then there are properties that are simply run down. The MET is definitely the latter. Other travelers had given this an 8+ rating so I booked it. Bad call! Everything about this place is dated, or should I say worn out. I can't remember the last time I checked into a hotel and was given a metal key, which was my first indication. The furniture must be 40 years old and the carpets were worn and stained throughout. My room had a jerry-rigged window mount air conditioner that struggled to keep the room cool on a cloudy day. The hot water for a shower was inconsistent with barely any water pressure. Last of all the Wi-Fi was spotty at best. Not trying to be critical but I hate surprises when I travel. This was more of a disappointment.

Close to sky train so noisy but great location and good value for money

This hotel was convenient to the Sky Train--just steps away from the Columbia station. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful.

We were pleasantly surprised!. The hotel had a European feel, except the room was large. Will definitely stay again.

Nice classic hotel. Reminded me of my stay at the Astoria Hotel in Budapest.

Loved the location of The Met. Parking across the street was handy. The room was great, no complaints. It is too bad that there is not an unloading zone out front. The Westminster Pier Park was an easy walk and a great place relax after travelling all day. There is a Sky Train Station is a couple of blocks away so the city is easily accessible. I would recommend staying at The Met.

You have to pay for parking ~$20/day and it's across the street. There is no loading zone so be prepared to walk your bags a ways. The ceiling panel in the bathroom fell out and hit my son in the head when he closed the door.

I liked the neighborhood setting of the hotel. Across the street was the river and park. Very walkable. Easy access to public transportation.

Location was the only good part of this hotel. Stayed for two nights. Had the AC unit on, as soon as we turned it off a BUNCH of ants came out and crawled into my bag and clothes. Didn’t notice until we were leaving. Tons of homeless people around, parking across the road. Very run down “historic” hotel. The staff sprayed room spray every time we came out of the elevator. Bedding was ripped. Carpets stained and dingy. Microwave was SUPER outdated.

Inexpensive place to stay right on transit. Reviews are correct that the train nearby can be noisey. We did not think it was too bad though.

Personnel très aimable et courtois,merci Pedro pour l'accueil! Par contre,air climatisée dans la chambre, épouvantable. Un vieux climatiseur dans la fenêtre qui ne refroidit pas du tout et fait un vacarme . Vieux tapis taché. Mais,Ok pour un séjour d'une nuit, car lits confortables. La chambre aurait besoin d'un rajeunissement.

The hotel and room was clean, the staff was very friendly and the service was good. The hotel did not have a parking lot but there was parking right across the street for a fee. The neighborhood and growing boardwalk area was cute. We took walks along the river daily. It’s also very close to shopping and restaurants. I would definitely stay at The Met again and recommend this hotel to others.

I only stayed one night for a quick mini trip during the World Cup. It was a bit far from the stadium but the area was really nice. I wish I could have stayed more time to tour the area a bit more. There is a little bar spot right next to the hotel. Personally, I am from the city so I am used to noise. However, if you are someone that needs quiet to rest, the train/rail station is right next to the hotel so you can constantly hear the trains throughout the stay. There is also a lot of bar/background noise from the bar itself and other surrounding bars. Again, I do not mind noise so it did not deserve to lose starts because of this. The one night I stayed it just so happened that the boiler broke and there was no hot water in the building. When I checked in, they made me aware of the situation and was told I could cancel because of this, if I wanted to. Since this was the same day I arrived and I knew finding a new location last minute would be difficult (and I was only staying one night), I said I would keep my room. However, a partial refund or accommodation would have been nice, since I had to shower with freezing cold water. Beside that, the room was clean and spacious, the staff was friendly, and it was a good place for the short stay that I had.
