La location è alquanto squallida: sporcizia, degrado e delinquenza. È consigliabile rientrare prima del calar della luce. Al check-in non sono stati chiesti i documenti di nessuno. Avevo prenotato una stanza doppia con bagno privato e aria condizionata. NULLA DI TUTTO CIÒ. Le foto sono ingannevoli perché la struttura è in totale degrado e puzza di muffa. C'è polvere ovunque e sporcizia ovunque. Le lenzuola erano sporche di sangue. I cuscini puzzavano. I proprietari ci hanno accolto a piedi nudi e per nostra sfortuna abbiamo visto quello che pensavamo non esistesse: piedi neri sporchi, con unghie lunghe non pulite. Abbiamo avuto molto disagio e terrore a dormire per paura fi prendere qualche malattia. Io, personalmente, lo sconsiglio. Hotel.com non dovrebbe permettere che vengano offerti così altamente scadenti, poco igienici e poco sicuri per la salute delle persone. Purtroppo le 6 foto a dimostrazione di quanto detto non vengono caricate. A voi la scelta! CHI È CAUSA DEL PROPRIO MAL PIANGA SE STESSO.

Unsere "Wohnung" im obersten Stockwerk hatte den Vorteil, dass wir ganz für uns waren und keinerlei Geräusche anderer Gäste wahrnehmen konnten. Es gab während der 4 Nächte keinen Zimmerservice. Aus dem Kaltwasserhahn des Waschbeckens kam kein Wasser. Wir hatten zwar eine Jacuzzi-Badewanne, aber das Wasser kam so spärlich und mal mehr mal weniger, dass wir die Wanne nie benutzt haben. Pflegemittel, Toilettenpapier gab es reichlich. Die Klimaanlage war akzeptabel laut und hat den Straßenlärm gut übertönt. Eine Abdunkelung gab es im Schlafzimmer nicht. Die Matratze war etwas hart und sehr breit. Das von vielen gelobte Frühstück war immer gleich und viel zu fettig. Omelett, Bacon, Würste, fetttriefende Pancakes, Toast, Orangensaft aus der Tüte, kein Obst, aber guter Kaffee. Die Butter stand mittags noch ungekühlt auf dem Frühstückstisch. Insgesamt fanden wir alles etwas unhygienisch und nicht besonders sauber. Der "Frühstückskoch" war sehr freundlich.

En upplevelse vi inte skulle vilja vara utan...MEN det här är inte ett boende för den kräsne. Värden och kocken är mycket hjälpsamma men boendet är i totalt förfall och troligen kommer det inte att fungera mycket längre. Säng, lakan och handdukar är rena men allt annat fungerar knappt. Vissa delar är i våra ögon mycket farliga. Det är gångavstånd till city men vill du inte se Toronto slumkvarter bör du välja ett annat område. Vi kommer aldrig att glömma detta boende och skulle inte vilja vara utan det men kan inte heller rekommendera det till någon. Bilderna som finns måste vara tagna för mycket länge sedan.

This property should not even be listed. It is a worndown residence passing as a B&B. The front door stays shut only if you usa the deadbolt and even then it doesn't close tightly. Our room on the 3rd floor was accessable by narrow steep stairs had no running cold water in the sink and the bathtub was a old spa that you had climb into to take a shower with very little water pressure,. None of the towels matched. The EXIT from the led to an unfinished deck with no stairs . This was a fire trap.

I like the free parking, it has only 3 spots but you can park on the street. It's very hard to find parking in downtown. However, the house is very old, stuffy smell, you'll die if you've allergy, old bathrooms, old dusty rugs, no towels, no garbage basket, hot water is weak, no AC so never go in hot summer, you'll die.

Lovely and quiet, breakfast was amazing and chef John is a wonderful person, some lovely Restaurants and pubs close by.

Where to begin.... Definitely funky and eclectic with antique/shabby/interesting decor. Not particularly clean. Very cluttered; chaotic feng shui. But every nook and cranny was interesting! Several guests were from Europe (Germany, Switzerland, Russia). Breakfast was basic but good. John, the chef, was a delight and the high point of our stay. Linens were clean but shabby. Little amenities like tissues, drinking glasses, trash cans, etc. were non-existent. Located about a block west of Parliament Street so transit, restaurants, and shopping are nearby. Parliament and areas east are quite safe; the west side is a bit sketchy. Let's just say I've never stayed anywhere quite like it.

We love to walk and this place was in a great location, within our range to easily get to downtown metro stops or even walk through parks to get to the Taste of Danforth festival. The vintage house had lots of items of interest and the breakfast was hearty. It was served on a lovely garden deck. Restaurants nearby around Carlton and Parliament Streets. Room was really quiet!

Ce B&B dans une maison ancienne, est un vrai musée, énormément d'objets du passé. Petits déjeuners british très copieux, de vrais repas. Place de parking très appréciée. Wifi correct. En plus, excellent accueil.

Definitely was the worst choice for a hotel in Toronto. The downstairs had air conditioning but none in the rooms. The kitchen was dirty and the place was completely cluttered. I was there for a hospital stay and had someone with me. would not even attempt the breakfast. The bedspread in the room we were staying in was ripped. The photos posted is NOT like the rooms OR the dining area. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Super quiet. Great for sleep. Excellent breakfast from 8:300 am.

It was OK overall although I suggest you call before hand to ensure they leave a parking spot for you.

A charming and eclectic B&B in a great location.

Endroit atypique : on dirait un musée tellement il y a d’objets anciens partout. Le confort et la propreté sont sommaires mais les hôtes sont adorables, le B&B est bien placé sans Cabbagetown, il est proposé un parking gratuit et le petit déjeuner est délicieux !

Pimblett's is a dream place for memorabilia of the British monarchy back through Victoria and perhaps further back in time. A comfortable room with available common areas and John's very good breakfast - a great place to make your own way from in the city. Excellent neighbourhood pub (The Irv) and The House on Parliament around the corner for a great meal and, in the expanded world view, only two major blocks to Church Street and two more to Yonge.

I lived there for one week. The Wifi is terrible, I can hradly get on line. This is basically an Airbnb.

This place is not the Ritz but it is a great place to base a visit to Toronto. Quirky and imaginative it's a really great place to stay. The hosts are really friendly and full of local knowledge just making the visit. The breakfasts are second to none, cooked fresh to order. Don't miss out, give it a try, you will not be disappointed.
