Pool is good

Nice big room, comfortable bed, make up mirror in the bathroom. Front desk staff excellent. Did not try the pool or breakfast.

Everything great

Washing machine was broken down but we were advised upon arrival. The breakfast wasn’t what I thought it was but was convenient. Pool and hot tub were nice. Definitely a great value. I would stay there again.

Great service as always

I have stayed there many times but this time was quite poor. Toilet bowl was dirty. Every towel had stains on it. Shower stall has hair in it. I left early in the morning so didn't get a chance to tell management.

A couple of cons were the room key cards did not work until reprogrammed at check -in. Also the baggage cart was too big for the size of the hallways and especially the elevator. Need ones half the size. I found the bathroom quite cramped for space and the door must be closed when using the shower. I'm 175 lbs and 5'10''. The carpet in the room should be replaced. It has seen enough service. Other than the carpet everything else in the room was very, very clean and neat! Staff were very friendly and helpful. I will definitely stay there again but get the flooring people in there to do some work.

Ruben was amazing during our check-in. Very helpful. Nicest check in of our trip! The rooms are renovated and were clean and in great shape. The hallways and hotel itself is a little worn but clean. The workout area was dark and smelled of rubber from the flooring, so chose not to use it. Pool was very nice.

The layout is very strange, as the elevator is quite a distance from the front desk.

Overall the hotel was a nice place to stay, the pool and hot tub were nice and the room was clean and well appointed. The bathroom had been updated nicely. We stayed for 3 nights and the only issue was we did not ask for a room refresh on the first day but did on the 2nd day. The door hanger asking for the refresh was overlooked and by the time we returned housekeeping had gone home so we had to go to the front desk and get what we could. The front desk was very apologetic and offered a continental breakfast for our inconvenience which was nice, however their continental breakfast options are not our preference. They mentioned waffles but turns out they were the processed, pop in the toaster type of waffles. We will stay at this hotel again the next time we are in Castlegar.

When checking in I told the person at the front desk that my wife has mobility issues and is using a cane so l asked for a room close to the elevator. He told me the room was not very far from the elevator but it was. Next day checking out I mentioned this to the front desk and was told it was because we wanted a queen room. Rooms close to the elevator appeared empty.

I’d say all in all it was a great day. The room was comfortable. The pool was nice. The staff were fantastic.

This hotel is aging, although it was in an okay state of repair. Furniture in my room was very tired and worn. There was no outlet in the bathroom, which was very annoying for getting ready in the morning. Despite hanging the sign on my door to have my room cleaned from 730am-430pm one day, nobody came. It was an okay stay, nothing horrible happened, but it wasn't great either.

Convenient location. For an older hotel, facility was in good shape inside the hotel. Room had been updated and renovated with clean carpet, good bed, desk and bathroom updates. Clean and comfortable.

It was a pretty good stay got locked out of the building and both my cards didn't work to go into the gym but overall not to bad

Very clean rooms with a nice updated bathroom. Bed was very comfortable. Rooms are a bit dated but comfortable. Staff was very helpful.
