Such a nice hotel for the money. Everything was in great shape and the pool and breakfast were great!

Have stayed here a few times. Everything has always been great

Breakfast had a good selection. Is an older hotel but in good condition and was clean. Water slide and pool were excellent.

We have stayed a week a year for years and this year was likely our last. Hotel has been sold and the staff while polite were extremely slow and unhelpful - especially during a late check-in when I had to demand that we get into our already paid for room and paid for deposit because the girl didn’t know how to work the computer. Some of the perks are gone like muffins at the counter, Nutella is gone and the pancake machine was always broken. The breakfast has gone from 10/10 to maybe 5/10. Housekeeping was adequate - they used to arrange the kids stuffies on the beds after and that only happened one night. In general it was ‘fine’ but the charm has been sold away. It is a reflection of the middle ground service that seems to be standard now in Canada and while apologies are always plentiful - the actions to correct the errors are never present. Really sad to see how it has eroded.

Pool was freezing and hot tub chemicals were way too strong. Rooms were alright.

The rooms weren’t fancy but clean. The kids enjoyed the pool

Staff were friendly and helpful. Loved having an outside door directly into our room since we were travelling with dogs.

This is my favorite place to stay in the area with the exterior motel doors. Always a good stay here.

The breakfast was great lots to choose from, room was nice and clean for the pet friendly room.

Check in was easy and fast. Room was great! Very clean and well kept. Loved the pool and hot tub as well. The negative would be the breakfast. Very little effort put in. The food was left frozen for the guests to prepare themselves.

We were kept awake all night long by excessive banging from the person next to us who was trashing their room. We called multiple times throughout the night and nothing was done, there were no apologies or rectifications, during the day time that same person had a prostitute in their room, the children had to listen to the sex worker put on a show to say the least. We had to leave and did not get any rest that day either. Again no rectifying anything , I asked three times for the manager to contact me and not once did he. I have videos of all these events . Do not stay here if you want even a mediocre rest, with the kind of people they let in here it won’t happen, I mean I get you can’t control every person but you damn well can control how you deal with a situation and there was absolutely no accountability in anyway. I’m disgusted at what we were put through and the complete disregard of it, traumatic experience for the kids.

It appears that the building and particularly our suite were recently tastefully renovated. The staff were courteous and did their jobs in a friendly manner.

Pool and hottub were great!

Excellent pool with waterslide. Breakfast was well enjoyed by our family.

Room was significantly smaller than most 2 queen bed room, felt a little squishy. Room was clean but whatever they clean with the smelled was overbearing. The stag were nice and efficient. Breakfast was standard simple hotel breakfast. Cereal, toast, apples, etc. the warm food like eggs and sausage were frozen and you could Microwave your own. Parking lot was also squishy. Our van was a bit tough to manoeuvre. The pool was nice. Water slide, hot tub, and little splash part - all clean and definitely entertaining for the kids.

Good: Check in was quick and easy. The location was close to all amenties. Parking was good. The room temperature control was good. Clean and quiet room. Did not get to check out the swimming pool. Continental Breakfast included. Not good: The side road leading to the hotel is awful, full of pot holes. Foot traffic nearby is a little sketchy. I was thrown off by the Breakfast, the eggs and sausage was frozen. I could have went without waiting at the microwave for my breakfast to heat up. Also, my son could not hook up his ps5 to the wi-fi, we usually don't run into this issue at hotel stays. In the end, I would choose to stay here again if I am ever in Wetaskiwin again.
