The property was very clean. Room was spacious and bed was comfortable. Room is equipped with a microwave, a mini fridge, a kettle, a toaster, and all the basic kitchen utensils and cutlery you may need for your short stay.
The only downside is that there is no place to eat near the Chalet or in town unless you drive to nearest town Pictou which is 15 minutes drive away.

Smith Rock Chalets ligger fuldstændig fantastisk på en højderyg. Hvis du er til smukke solnedgange eller solopgange, så er det stedet. Naturen rundt om er meget smuk, og der er flere gode vandrestier. Stedet ligger meget centralt for dagsudflugter. Der er 20 km. til en super strand og du kan kører over broen til PEI og tage færgen hjem på en dag. Den nærmeste større by er også vældig hyggelig. Så et dejligt sted at slappe af efter en dag med udflugter, eller bar komme helt ned i gear for verden, og bare kigge ud over det storslået landskab

It was a beautiful place to stay. The outdoor pool was clean and warm (cleaned every morning). The road to go in was a bit rocky, but well worth it. Lots of trails and outdoor activities. The deck could use some work & stain, also there were no chairs to sit on outside on either your own back deck or the main covered porch. The community bbq for the motel sites barely works and could use a cleaning. The rooms were relatively clean but could use a good dusting. We were able to get late check out, which was wonderful. The parking was an issue for the motel but that was mostly due to the guests inability to park NOT the place itself.
We would definitely stay there again!!!
I just wish the office was open longer and maybe had some sort of events going on for the campers. And had more to offer in the general office\store.
BEAUTIFUL VIEWS THOUGH! Just bring your own chair LOL

It was a very quiet setting up a long gravel drive through the woods overlooking the mountains. Only downside was that there were a few bugs in the room and the outdoor pool was not heated. Enjoyed our quiet stay!
Bonus was that we were given an upgrade to our room without an extra charge

Although adequately clean, we found the kitchenette sink stopper to be not working and not enough items to BBQ with even though the information listed a BBQ to be available. The BBQ was not clean and we used aluminum foil over the grill for sanitary reasons.

Mattress was the worst I’ve slept on during our 17 day holiday, staying at 10 other motels/hotels. Wasn’t aware that our bed would be in the loft area of cabin without air conditioning in 30 degree weather, didn’t show that in description. Otherwise cabin was cute and area was nice. Because of the bed I can only give them a 5/10.

Everything was wonderful. The staff were just lovely. The only problem was we found the bed uncomfortable. It wasn’t unbearable, for one night. Overall, I would highly recommend this place. It is beautiful.
