Vwry clean - excellent on the front!

This luxury apartment was perfect for bringing in groceries and having your own cooking done before heading out. The cleanliness was absolutely perfect. The hotel management was amazing and went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. We will be forever grateful to John and Kaity for the detailed and personalized experience we received during our stay and for making sure everything during our stay was beyond perfect. Highly recommend this property and we will surely return in the future!

All good except for the strong scented cleanser used in the lobby and parking areas. It’s headache inducing.

Room was great although a bit more attention detail could be applied when cleaning. The bathroom had several hairs in various locations, large and small, and it was like that episode of Seinfeld trying to splash them all away. Definitely didn’t sign up to clean the bathroom walls upon arrival but other than that the place is awesome.

We recently stayed in a two-bedroom, two-bathroom suite at Soho Lisgar and were very pleased with our experience. The self check-in process was simple and convenient, and the property was clean and well maintained. The suite itself was a good size and came with everything we needed — a full kitchen with a microwave, dishwasher, stove, oven, and a large fridge with a freezer on the bottom. It even had a washer and dryer, which was a great bonus for a longer stay. The beds were very comfortable, and overall the suite was quiet, though we did hear the occasional siren at night — to be expected when staying downtown. We enjoyed being able to cook breakfast and dinner right in the suite. Having a Farm Boy grocery store just a few blocks away made picking up groceries very convenient. One of the main reasons we chose Soho Lisgar was because it offered a parking garage. Street parking downtown is expensive, and the nearby lot is usually packed during the day. On one day, the parkade garage door was being replaced, so we were given the option to leave our car inside or park elsewhere, and management covered the outside parking cost — a nice touch. If we had to mention any minor improvements, it would be to add a few more kitchen items, like a spatula, serving spoons, oven mitts, a muffin tin, and a frying pan (there were pots but no frying pan). Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely book again the next time we’re in Ottawa!

Only issue is the smart TV was not functioning properly. Everything else was awesome.

This hotel charges an unadvertised daily fee on top of the amount quoted on Expedia so you don't know what you will be paying. This is dishonest behaviour. Expedia spoke to the hotel manager (Kathy) who agreed to reimburse this charge. They never did make the reimbursement. Additionally the internet connection was so slow so as to be unusable. Cannot recommend.

Great area, great communication

We enjoyed the spacious nicely prepared room. Great location, and surprisingly quiet given that it’s downtown.

The tv is strange

I thought the room had a pretty good view, the electric curtians in the bedroom didn't work, housekeeping didn't leave enough garbage bags. Around the building there wasn't any smoke bins...or what ever they're called

Nous adorons l’emplacement de Soho Lisgar, près de tout. C’est notre troisième fois, et nous y retournerons c’est certain. Nous apprécions beaucoup le stationnement souterrain.

Our stay (our first) was fantastic! Check in to retrieve building and parking fobs and room keys was clearly communicated and very smooth and easy. Parking was a breeze underground. Our room was stunning with a balcony, kitchen with amenities and supplies and bedroom with bath. The building is quiet and solid. Clear instructions are great Ben with key pickup on how to get assistance if needed. Washer and dryer was a real plus! Lots of closet and drawer and shelf space. Can’t wait to go back!
