Always a great place to stay in Charlottetown and love the location, rooms and of course the amazing breakfast!

Really enjoyed our stay!

The Great George has been one of our favourite places to stay in Charlottetown. The rooms and common areas are warm, clean, and stylish. The staff is friendly and attentive, The location is central to the shops, restaurants, and events. We highly recommend it.

Parking was easy. Love vintage vibe lobby. Staff’s are nice. Clean room.

Centrally located. Free parking, included breakfast and free happy hour!

This is our fifth time at this hotel This year. Had the honeymoon suite in an external building. It was very large, but very poorly laid out and furnished. The bathroom had no heat and given the temperature outside, was freezing. The next day we asked for a heater. Should not have to ask! Also there was a tiny corner shower stall with a flimsy cloth Curtain. It wasn’t pleasant. The worst thing was the noise. These are old buildings and you hear everything. The number of people in the suite upstairs was definitely over 10 on our second night and on the third, there were at least 25 people coming and going. It was “levee” day in Charlottetown. Nothing we could do about it. Then … we wanted to try a relaxing jacuzzi which was large and in the room. Well, it was dirty. Mostly hair. It was completely gross and we couldn’t use it. Apart from the revellers above us, hotel was very quiet. Always free parking and small breakfast offering which is appreciated. Will not stay outside of main building again.

Amazing team! We always feel like royalty when we stay at the Great George. Thanks to an amazing team.

Excellent hotel. The concierge Sam was extremely helpful and friendly.

Our stay at the Great George was exceptional. We stayed there from Wednesday through Sunday morning and everything was seamless. The staff was not only efficient they were also kind and warm and ready with local suggestions when we asked for them. The hotel is walking distance to so many things that we never needed to use our car, and we were able to stay parked in the hotel lot the entire time. The bed was comfortable, the room beautiful and the view a lovely one. We will absolutely be back.

The bed frame was broken. The breakfast wasn’t as good as the last time we were there.

The Great George is an absolutely beautiful spot! It was tastefully decorated for Christmas, and we were welcomed warmly by a very friendly staff member. The room we chose to book was spacious and extremely clean. We would stay at the Great George again, without hesitation.

Best hotel in PEI for ambience, decor, comfort, attention to detail, and at the heart of downtown. We booked a night as part of a weekend shopping trip/staycation and were very happy. Free cookies and coffee in the lobby was a nice touch, and the bed/pillows were incredibly comfortable. Only thing I would change was the hot breakfast....the hard-boiled eggs were very over-done (sulfur layer) and the waffles were also over-done/dried out...but we found lots to eat. Would easily stay again.
