The staff were responsive and exceptionally kind. I’ve already recommended The Smith to a very picky friend.

All is perfect, if it were possible we would award six stars to this property.

The kitchen had everything you would need to make any dish, clean, the fridge had no stock and only 1 coffee pouch, the parking was great and easy

This hotel is amazing! Very easy check in and check out process, rooms were clean and organized. Parking is simple and so close to everything. Would highly recommend.

Gorgeous property! We stayed at the Belvedere recently as well and this time brought friends to enjoy the Smith (three rooms total). We were all suitably impressed and will return! Special shout out to Melanie - such a gem. And the front desk agent who recognized my husband on the Smith "Ring" cam from our Belvedere stay (cannot recall her name but I believe she is from Brazil - she is so lovely). Kudos to all!

Room was beautiful. Check-in was sloppy and no hot water our first night.

Unfortunately, the downside of a hotel with no front desk in the middle of winter turns out to be that you and their tech support agent have to work together to debug your room's heating system at 1:00am via text message. And then you never solve it, are miserably uncomfortable in fancy surroundings, and they offer an apology in the same text message chain which feels as though it was written by AI. Maybe this is the direction that all hotels are heading in, but I must say that I can't recommend this one when Kingston has so many options with good service.

This is the 4th time we have stayed here and it is lovely as usual. A little bit of a parking issue was handled quickly. Beautiful & comfortable room and the location is convenient and walkable to shopping and restaurants.

Flawless stay. This property is a unique gem and a fabulous addition to the city. Everything has been thought of, we especially loved all the local products and impeccable design. Easy parking and conveniently located close to great restaurants and little shops. Highly recommend this property.
