Travel Inn Cochrane

The floor in the room sounded like squeaky plywood wherever you walked. The fridge was broken and required a chair against it to keep the door closed. One chair was stained. The towels provided were stained. The glass panel on the entrance fell out when opened. The show curtains were dirty. There was garbage under the bed from previous occupants. The sink and Kleenex holders were falling off the wall. There was no place to hang snowmobile suits or even regular jackets. The breakfast was very limited with no juice or water the first 4 days and no milk on the 5th. The restaurant urinals were both out of order. The staff would stop taking your order if someone was calling in for a pizza and would make them the priority. The police drove my a room two doors over daily to check on a local staying there. Overall it was not a great experience and I will not stay here again.

Beds are hard as rock and old, you can feel the springs. Not worth the price but good for a night if all else fails.

I like that the location offers a selection of foods, they are open late and open up early too. The area is not walk friendly. The rooms are quiet and comfortable.

You get what you pay for for this property. Stayed here a few times as there was limited options, decent price but certainly a 2 star motel.
