모라베자 호텔

This is a great, quiet hotel which also has an adults only area with pool for those that prefer. Location is wonderful, on the beach and has three places to eat, including a restaurant on their own private beach. We highly recommend the upstairs bar/restaurant - La Tortue which you do have to make a reservation but they are very accommodating. Excellent staff in this bar, very very professional and friendly. Special mentions to Agnelo, Abdou and Marco who are brilliant! The food was lovely too. These are the staff members that make you feel most welcome. On that note, there was a couple of things that let it down. Morabeza is supposed to mean 'hospitality' and 'welcoming' but the receptionist - the front of house, the first person you see when you arrive after a long flight is completely belligerent. We pre-arranged a transfer with the hotel which was confirmed by email by Zita (not the woman we dealt with) but they didn't turn up. A kind stranger called the hotel and they said to get a taxi and they would refund us, but they didn't. No gesture of good will, no apology from the lady at reception and not even a smile. In our opinion, she really let her colleagues down with her hostility and ignorance. The cleaning staff, the grounds people, security and waiting staff were all good, a little reserved at times but all made a good effort. Overall, a great option with lots to offer. Clean and good choice of foodMade even better by the local dogs who join you on the beach!

Beach view room provided partial beach view at best. Rooms dark, still in 80's style. Breakfast good, La Tortue is nice restaurant. Several pools with a lot of chairs, in and out of shade.

La ubicación y el diseño del hotel son lo mejor.

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour en famille. Le petit déjeuner était délicieux, le personnel à la fois sympathique et compétent. Il y avait toujours suffisamment de transats, que ce soit à la plage ou à la piscine, pour s’installer confortablement. La situation de l’hôtel, juste en face de la plage et à proximité de la petite ville de Santa Maria, est un véritable atout.

Propreté et emplacement au top Les restaurants sont excellents mention spéciale pour celui de la plage et son grill. Petit bémol pour une moitié du personnel pas très avenant ! Heureusement que certains remontaient le niveau.

Suite med flott strandutsikt. Familievennlig. Rentbogvpent, god service.

Angenehme Atmosphäre

Room was nice and the view was great! The overall ambience of the resort was nice. The food was not great, but we only had breakfast there so it was not so bad. Staff were very friendly and the location was great!

The location, staff, the room, cleanliness, food happy hour, pools, all really amazing definitely would recommend the Morabeza hotel. However just a note for some travellers, this time of year, January to February tends to be a lot older clientele so if you’re looking forward a lovely quiet relaxing time this is perfect for you. Directly by the beach and by the strip where there are lots of really great restaurants and bars with music every evening. Overall this is a beautiful place to visit. Temperatures are just perfect and lots of outdoor water sports which are well worth the trip to have a look at the wildlife in the sea that cannot be matched. The people of Cabo Verde are extremely helpful, polite and very cool. Overall I would recommend Cabo Verde to the traveller who wants something a little bit more than a beach and pool holiday lots to do and explore.

A lovely hotel with a decent choice of bars and restaurants. Nice grounds in the main although there was a little refurbishment work going on. The staff were very pleasant and professional, especially in the Tortue bar and restaurant.

Clean room, nicevbut would have preferred a higher floor Check in was a real bore, huge manual form, totally unnecessary when they could just have photocopied the passports like everywhere else!

We booked the hotel last minute, which means we only had the choice of their last room available, a standard room. Whilst the room was their cheapest, we were fine. However, the rest of the hotel was faultless from arrival to leaving.The location of the hotel was probably the best location of all the hotels as it was near to everything that we required.

Séjour très agréable, l’hôtel est proche de la plage et surveillé en permanence avec des agents de sécurité. Bien aménagé avec restaurant plage. Il y a aussi le restaurant la Tortue en soirée qui est plus intime avec son bar. Personnel très poli, souriant. Hôtel très propre.

Very good

Die Lage des Hotels ist hervorragend. Die Anlage ist sehr sauber und weitläufig . Schöne 3 pool , viele Liegen, eine schöne Beach Bar runden das Angebot ab. Was nicht toll war ist das Badezimmer mit seiner Lamellentür. Es ist somit fast keine Privatsphäre vorhanden. Alle Geräusche sind deutlich zu hören. Ebenso dringen Gerüche in das Zimmer. Das ist schon sehr unangenehm.
