Good location. Staff very nice.

Location is sketchy at best. As a tourist with that family, I will not recommend. I paid but didn’t stay due to location.

Buena experiencia, descansé plácida y privadamente. además pude trabajar, aunque un escritorio para escribir más tranquilo y cómodo en el espacio hubiera mejorado todo.

We had the private triple room, which is located separate from the hostel. The place is very secure. Rooms are spacious and clean. The kitchen is very useful, and excellent WIFI. The bathroom is also spacious, but the standing shower is small, hot water does not come regularly, and drains very slowly. Probably the only downside of this place. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

We booked a “loft” room over New Year’s Eve, which is Very busy and very expensive, so we didn’t have a lot of options of places with a kitchen. The kitchen had the basics, but the room is very sparse- 1 hook (in the kitchen) and not a single shelf or cupboard (other than for the kitchen dishes) The hostel is located in the party neighborhood, so lots of noise at night- quiet until noon, tho! Door to the suite opens right onto the street. Window faces directly into the shop across the street. Walking distance to most places you’d want to visit. The room was grimy- doesn’t seem to have been properly cleaned in a long time; we wore sandals indoors at all times.

Muy buena la atencion de los encargados, loft limpio y muy comodo

Es un loro en el que se accede subiendo por una escalera empinada. Tener en cuenta si se viaja con mucho equipaje. El loro es súper simple pero todo limpio. Tiene los servicios básicos para bañarse dormir y comer

It was clean, but it was impossible to have a proper temperature in the shower and there was no blackout in the window, so it was nuisance because of the lights from the street. It is very near to Valparaiso's historical center. The guy who did our check-in was very nice, but the owner was a bit rude when led us to our room... I definitely would not stay there again. But Valparaiso is a wonderful city.

No me quede en el hospedaje porque me parecio muy insegura la zona en donde se encuentra, no habiendo cochera cerca para dejar el vehiculo y ni recibiendo ninguna atencion por parte de los encargados del mismo. Muy mala mi experiencia ahi

This is an apartment, not a hotel, so there is no cleaning service or meals. They do provide a bath towel for each guest that can be refreshed. They also provide a laundry service for a fee. The kitchen is furnished, so you can stay economically if you want to cook for yourself. We enjoyed our stay because the location is fantastic--in the middle of a lively part of Valparaiso, and close to the Reina Victoria ascensor that takes you up to the top of Cerro Concepcion, with its fabulous shops and restaurants. This is exactly the experience we were looking for--I'm very glad we were right in the middle of the action! The unit is charming. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was fully furnished. The staff is helpful. Our only complaint was that the kitchen and bathroom floors were quite grimy. Otherwise the unit was clean. There is no parking provided, so if you drive, you will need to find on-street parking or park in a city ramp several blocks away.

La chica de la recepcion un poco incomoda.Una vez q nos atendió nos llevó a la habitación q era despues de subir una escalera y con las maletas pesadas resulta incómodo. Sin embargo precio conveniencia vale mucho la pena

Got lost. Took an hour to find the place as tourist map of Valpa given by Avis poor quality and GPS giving wrong directions. Checked in with friendly staff and shown apartment. Up steep stairs and hard for my wife. Put our bags inside then went to enjoy a city concert. Get back just after midnight to find the door lock mechanism kaput. Luckily were with others staying at same place but different apartment and they had cellular roaming. AND they had thought to get the hostal business card from reception (we had no emergency number to call). Got a hold of the owner's brother who came to check the problem out. At 1AM told couldn't be fixed until the next day but he gave us access to another apartment. We had only the clothes we traveled from NZ to sleep in and borrowed toothbrushes. Next day got reception to change us to the other apartment we slept in as it has no stairs. Moved our bags, changed, and finally had some time to sight-see around Valpa and Vina Del Mar. Staff very helpful but place needs to be maintained better.

Convenient location to town centre, room had all amenities in kitchen (booked loft room). Noise from outside (dogs barking and music until early hours from cultural park) and adjacent rooms not great if you're a light sleeper (bring ear plugs). Owner and reception spoke perfect English and was very kind and helpful.

Older style property, but included wifi private bathroom and own kitchenette. Including fridge for my beers. Central location and I walked to/from the terminal de buses easily during my stay. So all good in my book...
